This is very true but i would hazard a guess that even children would know where the troubles are with the constant media coverage.

Spoke to a Government representative yesterday I won't name to discuss Energy Security and our urgent need to cut gas consumption for electricity and that Government should support costs by low interest loans or offset against bills.

Response:

"I am on a Green Enery Tariff and the Party has plans for 80% renewables by 2030."

Solar photovoltaic 0.0%

Wind 20.2%

Hydroelectric 1.6%

46.4% fossil fuels:

Coal 0.0%

Oil 0.0%

Gas (open cycle) 0.0%

Gas (combined cycle) 46.4%

27.3% other energy:

Pumped storage 0.0%

Nuclear 19.8%

Biomass 6.9%

Other 0.6%

It's 3:27am and ticking along at 46% gas charging all those Green EVs!!

We're completly screwed..
