He’s worth over US$68billion - I think it will make a difference

Seems that Russia has now lost the football, racing and now Eurovision

They need to lose everything until such a time that they stop and retreat

But it needs to be much faster than it has been!

"Well the EU has done it! "

You have to be able to find it before you can seize or freeze any of it… it likely to be tied up in some tax haven somewhere!

News just in ...

"The UK will introduce sanctions against Russia's President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov "imminently", Boris Johnson has said."

I take it the same argument you make applies, even if the UK has followed the EU's lead - and, more to the point, "imminently" is not the same as immediately?

Or would you dare to accuse Boris of doing something ineffective?

"Russia and Putin have had ample time to prepare for the sanctions they knew would come "

Exactly, they already have an alternative to swift that they have been developing since the Crimean takeover.

Not something "They" can develop as SWIFT involves 200 countries and over 11000 banks all co-operating.

All of these countries including the uk have had bloody years to make alternative arrangements for gas but the greens have hampered it at every stage.

The uk could have had free flowing gas by now and been able to freeze Russia out by supplying Germany Italy as well as having half the bills we are now currently paying.

And the revenue could have been funding nuclear and renewable energy
