Same as they laughed when one of their own stood up and asked to make microplastics filters to be compulsory on new washing machines.

To reduce environmental impact of nylon, polyester and others.

It was a fair question resulting in boos and laughing.

I believe that it was tbe Opposition benches laughing. They saw it (rightly) as a diversionary tactic.
