Closing it is easy, getting it back up again is a lot harder. The DUP are only Closing it now because there's an election soon. They pushed Brexit they Trusted Boris soo slap it up em. Keep it closed see how that goes.

Paul Givan has resigned, and by de facto, takes Sinn Fein deputy Michelle O' Neill down as well.

I'm assuming that the budget for next year will now be in limbo? Not sure what will happen on agreeing lifting of covid restrictions in NI.

Absolutely - is Brexit not what they urged all to vote for - they rejected the Teresa May backstop in favour of the protocol agreed by Boris - now signed up to and legal - maybe they didn’t read it first lol

the DUP have spat out their dummy and are stamping their infantile little feet whilst screaming that they are being ignored. yet they backed the hardest possible brexit despite the vast majority of NI voting to remain in the EU. sensible intelligent people would say to them as a response 'tough shit'.
