Johnson lied about Pen Farthing

Johnson denied he'd intervened in the Pen Farthing Afghanistan animal charity case, prioritising saving their lives over human lives. He called it "Complete nonsense".

Now we see a Foreign Office official is on record stating Johnson did intervene.

So he lied again. I'm shocked... Who am I kidding?

Yes the dogs would be safer than the interpreters and general workers we left behind.

Be nice to be able save both but given a choice it has to be the people. Boris lying is another example of who he is. It’s like finding a child alone in a room standing next to an open chocolate box with chocolates missing and the child’s face covered in chocolate saying it wasn’t me!

I don’t think he’s fit to run the country but I also can’t see why the tories still believe he’s ok to run their party. What’s happened there?

I think it is because he has given the top jobs in his government to incompetent people who know they are only there because of Boris , when he goes , they go, that is why they (most of them) are staying loyal , this was probably Cummings idea

Not only did he lie, it is the slander and determination they aimed at the Civil Servant who went public. The comments from government against him were disgusting, now turns out he was telling the truth.

Claiming he was a liar and trying to damage the "great news" that a whopping 15,000 Afghans were airlifted, leaving over 100,000 more behind.

I hope Raphael Marshall is seeking legal advice fir defamation, slander and victimisation.

Another allegation made by Mr Marshall, that Boris Johnson intervened to order the rescue of animals, was dismissed by the PM this afternoon as "complete nonsense".

It is alleged that Mr Johnson issued an instruction to save animals from the Nowzad shelter during the mass evacuation effort in August - potentially putting British troops' lives at risk and preventing people from fleeing Kabul.

Speaking to MPs on the Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday afternoon, Nigel Casey, the Prime Minister's Special Representative for Afghanistan, said: "There was no prioritisation of animals over people, the animals were flown out on a charter flight chartered by the Now Zad organisation.

He estimated that "between 75,000 and 150,000 people (including dependants) applied for evacuation" to the team under the leave outside the rules (LOTR) category.

And he estimated that "fewer than 5% of these people have received any assistance" and states that "it is clear that some of those left behind have since been murdered by the Taliban".

How many other accusations have you heard levvied at Johnson, he's defended with the "complete nonsense" comment he regularly uses.

The e-mail sender was apparently Trudy Harrison…. Who is a Tory MP who was alluding to airlines that if she got a plane everything was set and it had been authorised by higher ups in government, and apparently people in the FCO were under the impression this had been authorised specifically by no.10 , so someone is not telling the truth

True but she has stated that she did it off her own back and that she referred to her position. So is she lying too? who knows but it seems some people have made their minds up already how surprising.

Yeah but in case you dont know thats not how the law works the police cant convict a habitual thief just because he is one they actually need proof that he did the crime.
