Yes. It's worrying that so many prominent tories are salivating at the prospect of Russia invading Ukraine - again. What's worst of all is that they know that - should Putin turn out to be stupid enough to invade; which seems unlikely but not impossible - they won't be in harms way. You have to wonder what difference an invasion of the Ukraine will make to them. An increase in their dividend from BAe? Having to sell their shares in GAZPROM? No more Party funding from their friendly oligarch? The good news, from a UK citizen's point of view, is that none of them, or their children, will be getting sent to die in a pointless war - should there even be one. And, on a related point; can any of you remember how dramatically your lives changed when Russia annexed Crimea? It didn't, did it?

Tobias Ellwood and Tom Tugendhat. No doubt you don't consider them prominent. The point made by the OP is correct - whether you agree with it, or not.

"Threatening war with a country with 4,000 nuclear missiles one of which is capable of reducing a UK city and all its inhabitants to radioactive Ash is not sabre rattling, it is complete madness" Don’t worry Johnson has been given permission by his Russian handlers to rattle that little sabre a bit. Got to keep up appearances!
