"Whatever previous view you had of Johnson, has it changed? " Actually I think the question should be for those who voted for Johnson.. has their opinion changed of him? Regardless of who was representing the other sides I hope this doesn’t get baited into a “lesser of two evils” thread….. Me personally … I have heard stories from the time he was at the FCO… so I am surprised… not in the slightest!!!

"Yea yea get labour back in and fk the country over AGAIN Remember remember " Remember what? The last time that the country ran an operational credit was in the Tony Blair era. Blair and Brown also virtually eliminated homelessness (as an aside). You are recalling the global financial crash of 2008 which damaged the economies of many, many countries. Gordon Brown’s decision to lend taxpayer money to the banks was costly but has since been universally accepted to be the correct course of action. It is a fallacy and 100% untrue to assert that Labour wreck finances.

Plus ignoring the lessons learnt from not locking down sooner were again totally ignored when SAGE advised a lockdown in September 20, the resulting delay again costs lives over the Christmas/ January period as the inevitable lockdown was too late ..

Now we've spent these two years seeing what he is like, its like buyers remorse for many now. Looks like they taking him back to the shop and getting a replacement at the next GE. There is no shame really in not voting for him or his party now, I think it has made it easier for true blue tories to reassess their choices, do they want a competent government, which can bring stability, or do they want a chaotic government, which is changeable as the wind? I don't think we should bat those who have doubts about being a Conservative supporter, rather we should be extending the hand of friendship, and saying it's ok we understand. " Well said.. "I think for the majority of voters they chose him because they like a little gamble, at the time there wasn't really much of real a real choice. The last paragraph, is of course, total and unmitigated bollocks. Anyone with an ounce of sense only has to read the thread titled "Tories" to realise what a blatant lie that is. If Johnson stays as PM, the Tories will win by a small margin at the next GE. If he resigns before then, the Tories will win by a big margin. Yet again. Yeah I agree. Conservative voters don't care how badly Boris and the government fuck us over. They will vote for them again and again. Of course they will, because they're the best option available. Whose fault is that?" I've no idea why you have no aspirations not to be fucked over by our government. Or who you blame.

" Of course they will, because they're the best option available. Whose fault is that?" As a matter of interest, why do you think that the man who led the most successful team that that COS ever had would be a worse leader of the country than a man who lies as easily as he breathes? What constitutes Leadership to you? Even without Johnson - reports today that £8.7 billion of the £12.1 1billion spent on PPE by this Govt has been written off. The catalogue of catastrophic and costly mistakes by successive Conservative (and majority Conservative coalition) since 2010 is a book with no ending. I am interested in why you personally think there is no alternative to such utter incompetence? What newspapers do you read FFS.

" I tend to disagree, I think there are many Conservative voters who are now in the " I am not voting for this party" group now, they are looking for alternatives now, either reform or lib-dems, I wouldn't say many are going to vote labour, or they will stay at home come Election time, so I think they understand that this cannot continue anymore, its no longer a vocal minority now, it a very vocal majority, one thing I can say, Conservative voters can be just as ruthless. Which is fine.

Whose fault is that? Boris is the best option available for the tories? That is worrying " What is even more worrying is that the Uk seemingly think Tories are the best choice and that Boris is the best if that bunch. It just goes to shows what an excellent job the ‘elites’ have done in dividing society for their benefit. You have to hand to those with the real power - who “control the media narrative” and leverage every opportunity to get the 95% to be divided so that the 1% can thrive.

"It's so difficult, imagine trying to bring up kids not to lie and obey the rules yet our prime minister does that all the time with the blessing from the English public. We are so much better then this yet " We're not. It's time we accept that truth.

So again there’s an element of choice. This racist here, or this other racist who also wants to be racist and make people poor. Is that how these principles you mention operate?

"Who cars what a load of rabid lefties think… they want the welfare state to take care of their kids from their various fathers and get free council houses….. Cars? Most of the unemployed and people on benefits vote Tory are you sure? Yeah why would people on benefits vote for torys? Always hear on here how the torys hate the poor, seems strange those people would vote for a party that hates them, you seem so sure though so you must be correct No idea, no offence but why do you care? just wonderd how you knew all dole ites were tory voters, like i said seems a bit strange for people to vote for a party that hates them but it must be true as you seem so sure,i dont care who they vote for to be honest with you but you must have some inside knowledge of how those on benefits vote, unless your saying stuff with no actual evidence I didn’t say ‘all dole ites were tories’ anyway, your usual response to anything on here is, who cares, both sides are the same, all MPs are the same, remainers and leavers are the same, left and right are the same, I never vote etc etc so why the sudden interest ? " told you plenty of times i can comment on any thread i like as long as i dont break the rules, just like coming in for the giggles and watching everyone preach about why the other side is so bad for the country, reality is none of them care about the great unwashed, and you did say most unemployed and people on benefits vote tory i just wonderd how you know that, you must have proof of this or is that just your opinion?

They literally don't care about being lied to, fucked over, having their taxes handed directly to Conservative party donors, being laughed at by partying super toffs while 1,000 people a day died of covid, islamaphobia, having environmental protections & safety standards removed from them etc etc. And I for one, completely believe them.

"Most of the media is on the right or hadn't you noticed. Tell it to my friends and family that we have moved on. My aunt died alone and my uncle died of a broken heart a few months later. Funerals nope. 2 friends died with no family around, yes I'm over it. " Other family members of the wife of the prime minister might or might not have "owned" a newspaper. Being independant is about making ones own choices. Just sayin
