The UK govt threatens the USA with trade retaliation if the US doesn’t drop tariffs on British steel.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-59597310

The US has dropped tariffs on European steel - but kept them in place on the UK.

Global Britain flexing it's muscles...

Yes I saw that. Maybe that is why Truss was getting in some tank battle practice.

The Americans won't move until the Northern Ireland situation is sorted out.

It’s OK we can do great deals with China … oh wait they are pissed over the Olympic boycotts and the defence pact with Australia. Maybe not then. If we do they will just sell us more stuff anyway.

This Global Britain thing doesn’t fill me with confidence. We are a great country but reality is we are being caught up and passed by the likes of India and Brazil amongst others. ( I blame all our recent U.K. governments of ALL colours).

Growth at 0.1% means Rishi’s 6.5% forecast is a big ask. ( he may be right). If he doesn’t see this growth, this will only result in more tax to fill the gap and service our now massive debts.

Government have laid ground work on tax. They have said local councils have no cap next year so with further central government cuts to local authorities the councils will raise council tax to fill the gap and get the blame again.

A government of chaos lead by a chaotic man.

The people of this country deserve a better political system which provides ability over spin and greed.

It's not hard too understand the trade negotiations. Try reading about it instead of trying to belittle people who do.

Blame covid for the problems caused by brexit. Check.

Don't forget Corbyn and remainers.
