"Whots this to do with has he got a profile on fabs"

I will not speculate as to Boris having a profile on fabs.

But I can say things are not swinging in his favour at the moment.

The catastrophic management of the virus in 2020 especially, where tens of thousands of lives were needlessly lost, is more than enough reason for him to be declared unfit for public office. It's not been great since.

I'm not so sure... He like Trump has worked out that the media and social media have an attention span of hours and it only takes a few hours for them to get bored and move on.

He wont give them a story, they get bored, we get bored it is forgotten. Such is our digital lives we want things to be angry at now and we want reaction now.

"Think the 1922 Committee are the ones to ask .."

1922 committee are a conservative oversite committee who hold the values of the conservative party to account, including members who are against serveral key conservative policies.

I must say they have been as vocal as they can against Boris.

Again I have to wait till the response at noon today on BBC 2 but the committee may move against him if they want continuing support from the voting public.

my dear don't do what we do, do as we say hahaha unbelievable really.

Of course I agree it seems to be the consensus thus far, lets see what the response is at noon on BBC2 PM Questions.

Wow again so true Boris is a populous PM as in he got his attraction on Twitter, Facebook and the media and of course the BBC (look behind you) well it is Christmas ))

their has to be a villain, but I think the BBC could fill another forum thread on its own.

It is a shame or the human condition that we are programmed thus ways to believe our leaders, untill I wake up I won't be able to change things no matter how obvious they are to me.

I am willing to bet that what Downing Street will do is put out some sort of statement around 11.30 ish saying the PM has been badly brief and he has decided to have an inquiry into the matter…

It would save the PM from having to lie at PMQs because that would mean he would have to resign

Sort of my point, the '22' and the grandees, donors etc are the ones who will as they always have done in the Tory party be looking at what the damage is to the party being in power which is their only aim..

Your bang on the money that's exactly what has occurred.

So the question begs to be asked if some of us can foretell the future when it comes to politics, why do we put up with it when we know or some know that's it is just a game of thrones.

well to me anyway.

There is alternative;

labour,

greens,

libdems

whoever else has a bit of spare cash to spend

vote for

none of the above.

"Should he stay or should he go?"

In my opinion Boris should go. He has no real grasp of right or wrong, he simply wants it his way and is willing to change laws or process to make it so.

Rishi Sunak has managed to stay out of the noise at every step, anyone would think the whips have their own plan-B

He lies all the time in the Commons. And he never bothers to correct the record. That's supposed to be a resigning offence, but he's still there.

If he resigns the new person would have to be another conservative. They can't hold a GE at present as it seems the parliamentary act has not been repealed yet. So no Labour, libs or greens just yet. Could end up with Gove

Anyone but boris would surely be an improvement…as I type that I think of Jacob Rees Mogg and Pritti Patel though. Even they I wonder might be better, as there would be some competence (and I say that very loosely, but look at the current situation)even if an alarming agenda.

I hope there is some sort of demo or protest on the streets of Whitehall, or the polls change dramatically. The tories tend to get rid rapidly when it comes to it, though so far he seems to have been pretty Teflon like.

So far yes he seems to ride it out but not sure how much longer he can do it. Yes as soon as the party think the next GE is at risk he will be gone. Then we really could have some of those you mention
