That 37 billion quid

According to a Commons watchdog:

The government’s flagship test-and-trace system has failed to achieve “its main objective” to cut infection levels and help Britain return to normal despite being handed an “eye-watering” £37bn in taxpayers’ cash.

Still, it was only 37 billion quid, eh?

Germany's version seems to have cost in the region of £1bn so far.

A lot of money for inputting data sent into them daily by csv file format into a xls spreadsheet which is a file format dating back to 1987.

I bet the delimiter was £.
