Fair enough - a subsidy isn't a bailout. But it's still public money to help out private industry. Do you think they'll be as generous with this country's steel manufacturers? And, since Covid, this Government has adopted a lot of the socialist solutions to the needs of the problems facing the UK. Like you, I am in favour of that.
