Yeh, your right we will just have to stick to covid deaths, no lorry drivers, astronomical gas prices, being shafted through NI raises and food shortages.

What? No cover stories? Like BJ had fish n chips! Must be a cover for BJ has a plan to take the next election without even really trying? (Tic) Mind you I say Tic and honestly believe that he will. At least the conservatives will.

Is this the end of political manoeuvring as we know it!

Are we blaming gas prices on him as well are? Lol. He sure is responsible for a lot but don't think he has much control over gas wholesale prices.

What for gas wholesale prices?

I cant see how any uk government no matter what flavour they are has much say over this seeing as we import a very high percentage of our gas which leaves us to the whims of the supplier, who ultimately can control the cost through controlling supply.

So you can't see what role the government would have in making sure we are not over dependent on one source of energy. Personally, I would see that as a major function of a responsible government. Anyway, hopefully they will put a union jack on the bills so all the flag shaggers can have a little wank as they pay them.

the systematic selling off of our energy infrastructure to foreign governments etc thus allowing our international competitors to use what they now own as leverage to extort the population finantially is the direct responsibility of the last eleven years of conservative mismanagement. they should have been fixing the roof while the sun was shining instead of lining their pockets and and the pockets of their chums. now the tax payers and bill payers will be made to cough up to cover tory corruption yet again.

Oh yes I can see they are responsible for that and have failed, just like all the governments before this lot for the last 30 yrs at least. When we moved away from coal was when more thought to multiple sources should have taken place, not 10 or 20 yrs afterwards. Although I don't see as a country how we could ever have met our energy demands without importing what we do not have. Wind and solar are and were never going to be enough with our ever increasing population, and nuclear is not exactly without its issues, so that doesn't really leave much else at this moment in time, so we need gas which we don't have and therefore we leave ourselves open as a country to being ripped off, just like most of our European neighbours.

Been going on for more than eleven yrs mate, I reckon at least 30, so we got about 10 yrs of new Labour and a good 20 yrs of tory to blame in my book.

If Johnson's actually confirmed a number, the one thing you can be sure of is that it's a lie.

Lol you're so right.

I have noticed since Johnson came to power the Tories have stopped banging on about family values. Nothing to see here.

It would be hilarious to see these Tories try and talk up family values - especially Johnson. It would likely lead to the response: "which family?"
