So, how many US personnel as well as collaborators are being taken to one side to be used later, for ransom?

Something they are not telling us yet?

Wouldnt surprise me if this starts happening in a few months once this has calmed down. More likely they will be passed on to other terrorist groups so to not give the Taliban more bad rep. 1000's of US citizens work for NGO's all over the country. The US cant/wont even get the ones around Kabul let alone further out. Plus theyre not sure how many or who is even in the country. Peoplle are supposed to sign in and out of the embassy as they come and go. Issue is some people dont sign out when they leave and some dont even sign in when they get in the country in the first place.

Did the USSR let people leave freely over The Wall?

Does North Korea allow people to leave without being shot and families put into hard labour?

Did Turkey allow Cypriots over the border in Cyprus, they shot children in cold blood.

Johnson and Biden are in a deranged parallel universe to believe the Taliban will allow people to leave once the bridge is closed. They'll shoot, hang and stone anyone trying.

The rest will be used for prisoner exchange and ransom. They have no morals, you are either useful you die.

It is a total failure and disgrace that we have "used" Afghans in this way. Same as the Kurds, cannon fodder then drop them..

They dont live in a parallel universe they know exactally whats going to happen after the 31st they just wont come out and say it,have mates who have served in afghan a few times and none of them are surprised at how fast the taliban took control so if it was obvious to ya normal soilder on the ground it was defo gona be known to those in charge,it afghan gona be like it was 20yrs ago yep probably,will most not care in a few months? Whilst the Taliban may be not everybody's favourite bunch of people, they aren't idiots, they have control of a country and if they want to keep it that way, they won't just start executing any non afghanis. All that will do is pull another war onto themselves and the people they want to look up to them. They have a long history of dealing with the US, they know slotting us citizens will just get all them bombed out of existence.

The voice of the leaders bears little reflection of what goes on on the streets.

Sick, sadistic and high on khat.

Cutting someone's muscles off his arm to watch him bleed to death in agony because he was in a minority.

Soon, phones, Internet and other communications with be cut off and we'll see the lights go out over the country into a black hole.

That's when it really starts as "no one can hear you screaming if you don't have a voice".
