The Taliban may be in power but they will find it hard to govern under these restrictions. Lack of hard currency will lead to severe inflationary pressures. " Indeed. To be fair, it's not much of a choice. Make things worse by withholding the money; or make things worse by giving them the money. Of course, it's only a dilemma for America. China props up N. Korea; maybe it could do the same for Afghanistan? After all, it's no more bound by international law than the USA is. | |||
