There are ample reasons for him to go to jail. But will he ever see the inside of a cell? Sadly, I doubt it.

Jeeeeeze how long have you got?

Going back to the "grab em by the pussy" stuff, that's Trump admitting on tape to sexual assault.

Trump pressured a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent. That's trying to get a foreign power to interfere with democracy in the USA. Sounds a lot like treason. He also tried to bribe the lader, so bribery too.

When it comes to financial crimes, there's likely a loooooooooooooong list. To pick a simple 1, he seems to have misreported the value of properties to pay lower tax. That's tax evasion. (If Trump ever does go to jail, I reckon it'll be for financial dodginess. He might get Capone'd.)

He misused donations for his own political gain. Fraud.

Trump university. Sounds like more fraud.

Stormy Daniels. There's a whole mess of possible crimes there. Campaign finance violations, tax fraud, and bank fraud.

Kids in cages. Violation of international law.

Obstruction of justice during the Mueller probe. More than 1,000 former federal prosecutors agreed Trump’s conduct would have led to multiple felony charges for obstruction if he'd been a member of the public.

Perjury. Trump lied under oath during the Mueller probe.

Witness intimidation. Trump attacked a former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine as she was testifying in front of the House Intelligence Committee.

What else? Trump tried to overturn the result of a democratic election in his country. There was a phone call to "find votes". That's a felony.

Trump incited a damn riot and an attack on the Capitol. Various people have gone to jail for this event already.

Only breaking the Law and being tried and found guilty of it far will send him to jail.

Until investigators and prosecutors and judges do that - then no, he won't go to jail.

Well I'm not defending the guy but some of those are just not correct or un true. So in the interest of fairness

1. I'm pretty fucking sure everyone of us has said unsavoury things about the opposite sex when talking privately to friends.

2. Think you will find that the Clinton Campaign also did exactly the same thing to Trump. "Fusion GPS, based in Washington DC, was paid to dig up dirt on Mr Trump, who was then Mrs Clinton's rival for the presidency".

3. The kids in cages thing was happening since the Obama era. The pictures used in the expose was like from a refugee camp in syria or some shit irc. Trump then closed them down for them to reopened by the Biden Administration, but even worse with kids having to sleep in buses.

If there are reasons, he will go, but, it needs to be actually proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in court. Not just something written in papers.

Actually it's because he committed multiple and blatant crimes. He also came damn near to dragging the USA into another civil war. Given the right numbers of supporters and the chance of succeeding, I've no doubt he'd do it.

Trump's basically a test case for ht elegal system in the USA. If they don't end up jailing him, their justice system is broken. And they're inviting the next wannabe dictator to overthrow democracy in their county, just like Trump tried to do.

Trump refused to accept he lost the election. He claimed, falsely, many times the election was rigged. His claims that he repeated over and over again, combined with his speech outside the Capitol, whipped up the mob that stormed it. These are simply facts.

Trump's endless repetition of the big lie had primed a good chunk of his supporters well before his speech. His speech at the Capitol was just the final part.

And who said I was outraged? Since when is the act of repeating facts a demonstration of outrage?

What's your whatabotism here? The blm riots? Did I support destruction and burning of buildings there? No, of course not. What's that got to do with Trump's law breaking and attempts to overthrow democracy?

Trump's basically a test case for ht elegal system in the USA. If they don't end up jailing him, their justice system is broken. And they're inviting the next wannabe dictator to overthrow democracy in their county, just like Trump tried to do.dictator lol if you think trump was even close to being a dictator i really think you need to read up on what a dictator is,was he a arsehole yep without a doubt, was he great entertainment yep he most certainly was,i think most peoples problem with him is they took everything he said seriously, but your way off thinking he even came close to being a dictator, like i said above if he was guilty of all what you said he would of been dragged off in cuffs all ready, its wishfull thinking on your part,

Do you remember when Trump refused to accept the result of the presidential election? Do you remember when his supporters, whipped up by the big lie and his speech, stormed the Capitol?yea i remember him refusing to accept the result bit like gore when bush beat him,as for the storming the capitol them yee haws were planning that way before the orange one said a word, now if it had been the whole crowd who had stormed it id agree he was responsible, seems it was mabey a thousand 1500 at most id say they was gona do that anyway, you do seem very wound up about something that has no affect on your life i must say

Oh I'm not wound up. Just repeating facts.

Trump refused to accept he lost the election. He claimed, falsely, many times the election was rigged. His claims that he repeated over and over again, combined with his speech outside the Capitol, whipped up the mob that stormed it. These are simply facts.

you really think they wouldnt of stormed the place if he hadnt gone out to speak to them lol i must say they got there cable ties bats radios and body armour at short notice if that was the case, telegraph or gaurdian done a good bit on youtube about it,they had several warnings in the week before that it was in the pipeline yet decided to have mabey 100 old bill on duty i wonder why that is,serious question was you as outraged watching american citys burn last year as you are about a building full of morally bankrupt people being smashed up?and no not a trump supporter or a supporter of any politician,

No I'm not. I mentioned Trump's supporters who stormed the Capitol. Those idiots deserve to be tarred.

And I answered your other question. I didn't support destruction or burning of buildings during blm protests.

Trump was president. Then he tried to overthrow democracy in his country. It's as simple and as damning as that. He absolutely should be in jail.

Oh there will certainly be attempts. But in the political forum, the USA is basically split 50:50 between the 2 parties. So the numbers aren't there to really get anything done.

And in the courts, money and power so often seems to get people off.

That us divide was there before he even got inaugurated, and it's still there now, trump wasn't anywhere near the whole issue, the whole world is being split down the middle

He left didn't he? A sign he accepted it? And I'm not so sure about that whole stormed thing, they went in, didn't do much storming. It was a "mostly peaceful protest" according to the standards set by the protests beforehand.

Trump only left when it was clear if he didn't he'd be dragged out kicking and screaming. By then, he'd already told his deluded followers over and over that he'd won the election and that it had been rigged. The damage had already been done.

And you think the storming of the Capitol was mostly peaceful? They erected a gallows and chanted "Hang Mike Pence." They broke into the building and rampaged through it.

And:

"Five people died either shortly before, during, or after the event: one was shot by Capitol Police, one died of a drug overdose, and three succumbed to natural causes. Many people were injured, including 138 police officers. Four officers who responded to the riot died by suicide within seven months."

Yup, seems really peaceful.

Same logic. You're arguing the guy in charge isn't to blame for the actions of his followers. Even though the guy n charge is the ultimate authority figure and he's been spouting hatred and lies at his followers, encouraging them the whole way.

Oh and here's a psychological profile of Hitler prepared by the US during the war. It sounds strangely similar to a certain Trump...

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

Oh Trump tried to sew it up. He tried to overturn the election with lies. He tried to nobble the postal service to aid him. He tried to incite his followers to fight for him. He tried to overturn the result in court too, where his cases were laughed out.

When none of that worked, he ran away before he could be dragged out. Luckily, he's an incompetent wannabe dictator.

"Probably about as likely as the Clintons to do any jail time

I don't like the Clintons, but Trump has done way more that is clearly against the law. Lets hear your list of crimes then!

I hate trump with a passion

I do actually suffer from Trump derangement syndrome

But there are some untruths in your post

They're all true as far as I can tell.

Oh there's defamation against Dominion too. All the lies Trump told about the "rigged" election."

I have already debunked a couple of them just from memory. If i could be bothered i could probably debunk or put in to proper context some of the others points also

But no thats not the case at all its just a boring bash Trump thread. Hes living in your head rent free

"PS I'm not angry, despite the fact you try to portray me that way. I simply think a ruler who dooes bad things and breaks laws should face jail time. Crazy, eh?

So you would be happy with probably 75% of the rest of them going to jail then. Blair for warcrimes, Clintons for fraud ect

You do like to make false assumptions about me.

Yes I'd be happy with Blair going to jail for war crimes. Yes I'd be happy with the Clintons going to jail if they committed fraud too.

If Biden is, as you say, caging kids too he should also face legal consequences.

None of this changes the fact Trump did a hell of a lot of bad things and broke all sorts of laws. Is that really hard to understand?

Yes, every politician that breaks laws should face investigation and if sufficient evidence is found to warrant a court case, should face trial. Exactly the same as every other person who is subject to the laws of the country where they live. If they are found guilty at those trials, they should face sentencing terms exactly the same as any other person found guilty of those crimes.

If members of the government are above the law, then it is a declaration that those laws are no longer applicable to any citizens of the country.

But then why would you only single out Trump in your OP? Surely if you had a balanced opinion you would have asked the question of all politicians that break the law

All politicians who break the law should face legal consequences. I brought up Trump as he's the most glaring example in the West since he took it to such extremes. And I was curious if people thought he would end up in jail or not. Despite all he did, I don't think he'll be jailed. And that's ludicrous.

But don't you think if he had broken any laws that the Democrats would have had a team of their best lawyers on it to do everything they could to see him jailed?

The left wing media in the US went after him to such a degree that even the most uncurious of minds should have seen there was something amiss about their reporting

Why is it ludicrous? if there is no proof he broke the law why would he go to jail.

"There are ample reasons for him to go to jail. But will he ever see the inside of a cell? Sadly, I doubt it."

I think there is more chance of the pope Turning protestant to be honest.

If Trump was a Russian stooge. Why would he allow and back the Three Seas Initiative? Plus block a Russian gas pipeline into europe? An act Biden overturned in an executive order straight away

No…. I don’t think they will have the balls to charge him with anything political…. I think his downfall will end up being tax related, there will end up being RICO charges

Remember they never got al Capone for all the murders, they got him on tax evasion

they not gona lock him up for anything,if it does happen then that sets a presedent for all past and future leaders and high ups in goverment and 90% of them are not going to want to be looked at to closley, and no not a trump supporter or fan.only thing i liked about him was the entertainment value other than that he was just like most other politicians,in it for there own financial gain

"Probably about as likely as the Clintons to do any jail time

I don't like the Clintons, but Trump has done way more that is clearly against the law. Lets hear your list of crimes then!

I hate trump with a passion

I do actually suffer from Trump derangement syndrome

But there are some untruths in your post"

Let’s look at the cases..

1) trump university… settled out of court.. 25 million

2) misuse of funds.. they will claim it was his charitable foundation rather than him personally…but remember that everyone involved is banned from being on a the board of any charity for 7 years…

3) stormy… again they will claim it was his fixer rather than him personally.. the fact that the cheque trump gave to Cohen was for the same amount is purely coincidental….

4) kids in cages actually started under bush 43… not Obama or trump! The trump administration were the first to order the forced separation of adults from children…..

5) obstruction of justice… vol 2 of the moeller report

6) witnesses tampering, witness intimidation

7) meddling with a general election .. trying to find 11780 votes in Georgia

Agreed. If he goes to jail, and it's a big if, I think he'll go the way of Capone. And just like with Capone, that won't be the main reason he should be in jail.
