"https://www.euronews.com/amp/2021/07/29/allegations-lawsuits-and-damning-reports-how-frontex-became-the-most-contentious-eu-agency?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=upday Very interesting read " Very interesting . Great idea with some success but needs to find its feet and clarify the limits of its role. There will be some individuals in such a large organisation who fuck it up from a PR point of view. One policeman in London hitting a protester brings out cries of total police brutality. Overall I think it’s a good idea to have a coherent policy that stops the inter country blame game such as us always blaming France. If it was then same border force they both have to work together as both get blame or praise.

"In a report published a couple of weeks back, the European Court of Auditors said Frontex was not sufficiently helping the bloc to curb illegal migration and cross-border crime. And despite this, the EU want to give them more scope and more money. Of course, within every agency, there will be some rogues who don't obey the rules etc etc. but what's levelled at Frontex is full on human rights violations. I wasn't aware either that they can carry out operations in any country within the schengen area and the country of operation must provide the equipment etc." Im glad we wont be contributing to new 11 billion budget.

Anyway, the purpose of this post isn't for you to think you're in the playground with your snide comments so let's try actually discuss the article.

" You dont seem to have any idea how budgets work Of course we are still paying for our commitments from the last budget and will continue to pay for decades to come for those fat cat pensions but we will not be putting into the pot for any budgets since we left.Brexit bonus.
