police have no confidence in Patel

Oddly, I don't think this was talked about on here. The police released a statement saying they have no confidence in Patel, in the midst of a row over pay.

I gather it's rather unusual for the police to talk about the Home Secretary in such a way. What could they possibly have against such a special lady?

£0 pay uplift after a challenging year.

Bringing in a new crime Bill that will require more from them with an inexperienced force after being cut to the bone.

I can’t think why the Police would come out and do that at all

I heard them ripping into johnson new plans as empty bluster.

Apparently one of his much vaunted plans..a named officer for each area..they already do.

Genius.

Allaremtly they have also shut down over 200 police stations in the last 10 years

A quick google implies they shut over 600 stations.
