Lets let the legal process have its way, before condemning.

Let's lie the courts do act independently.

Is a one day suspension adequate for trying to influence the judiciary?

Tory MPs to be suspended for trying to influence judges in Charlie Elphicke trial

Costa Blanca Spain...

So this thread is now a couple of days old and has stacked up the grand total of seven posts.

Had this been a Tory MP we would probably be at "Thread closed got too big" by now. With the usual sanctimonious suspects demanding his/her head on a spike.

Funny old world in the FAB politics section.

Curious interpretation.

Nobody is defending this MP.

Perhaps the non-Labour supporters are more comfortable with this sort of behaviour so are not as concerned?

Of course the very people pointing this out, have stayed strangely quiet on the lying prime minister issue.

Though tbf ,they dont seem big on self awareness.

Obviously people are not bothered about this issue

Works both ways though doesn't it.

The same people who are on that thread praising Dawn Butler have strangely stayed away from this one condemning AN MP of the same party.

Funny old world in the Fab politics forum.

Looks like she was playing the system to get an advantage re housing.. if it’s illegal then give her. a fine and rightly so.

It also looks like the housing system needs checking as she felt “too many beds in the room affected her studying!” Here’s a thought, go to the library or wait until everyone is up and shut the fucking door!

Let’s see if they find her guilty and if so will she resign? I doubt it!

Ms Begum acquitted of all charges.

So, this individual was not guilty.

Justice done, or will we now move to "no smoke without fire"?

Pointing out an MP is in court on fraud charges now amounts to backfiring when they're acquitted

Throw in the fact that the op hardly highlighted the fact that the mp was proved innocent..is the icing on the cake that the thread went exactly as intended.

What backfired?

Besides, that isn't the OP. That is one person's opinion on the users of this forum, which they are entitled to.
