No, you see where I stand on Foxnews Feel free to look at other sources Sure, send post a link https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jul/07/armed-afghan-women-take-to-streets-in-show-of-defiance-against-taliban Thanks, so OP , who is ‘we’ and what exactly have you achieved Not you apparently my sisters who inspired Afghan women. Inspired them to do what? Is the Taliban growing in strength ? Are they willing to die for women's rights? Your woman oppression is showing. Who is ‘we’ and how have they inspired Afghan women ? Use your imagination nothing I can tell you after being there as a woman is going to get through to you. Your just being your normal self. Entertainment no substance. I will be totally honest, I know very little about this hence the questions, are you suggesting that America has inspired Afghan women to carry guns and fight the Taliban ? Aren’t you slightly worried about what will happen to these women when the Taliban regain control ? Then the women become insurgents to the Taliban. Not that hard to figure out. So you saying women can not fight ? Where did I say ‘women can’t fight’? I am sure Afghan women have been fighting for years So in your conclusion even though there is women in Afghan security forces those women are just going to lay down their arms to the Taliban.I don't think so they are going to fight. So according to you they shouldn't have been inspired just let them be. So funny I predicted 4 days ago about Afghanistan from my experience being there in Afghanistan. In the Afghanistan endgame post experts today played out the same scenario I gave everyone 4days ago and I don't know what I am talking about. Weird I must be Nostradamus. Did you predict the embarassing American defeat 1p years ago?and here’s the other one out of the tag team lol" lol

The other day you were bragging about "mission accomplished" what is that exactly? Your wrapped up on thinking youve delivered freedom and democracy, you forget your victims.. Countless civies killed in the process.. and those to come. I don't presume to have all the answers. My only suggestions are: don't start wars on lies, don't commit war crimes and jail whistleblowers and journalists on warped lies protect civies, In afghan case, pulling out too quickly. Abandoning allies to their fate (south vietnamise, kurds, yazidies to name a few have that experience ) leaving hoards of weapons behind in a disorganised withdrawal.. Don't impose your limited options on them.... The list is endless As for the "thinking i matter" i admit i dare to hope i mattered in a small contributory way, knowing I've helped colleagues in dragging someone from death's door in some cases .. A sense of victory, tainted by the thought of the needless suffering. Well it's 10:55 on a Saturday so itll e late afternoon in bear creek. you'll be chucking hand grenades, massacring the wildlife for your evening tea i suppose

"American failure in Afghanistan Chinese concentration camps. Im in awe of their staggering hypocritical double standards and bullshit lionel But what if you think the war in Afghan was a mistake and also that China are arseholes? Because I think both. They are 2 completely different topics. The war in Afghanistan has mo relevance at all to Chinas human rights record " To be honest that was my first contribution to the thread. When it’s a big thread I always start at the bottom as I can’t be arsed to read the whole thing. Especially in the Politics forum.

"Taking a ztep back, and, getting back on topic here "afghan women" if they want to fight then that's their choice, I saw a documentary on an afghan police woman, who despite loosing a limb is still working and an inspiration... However! if small in numbers i wouldn't want a female unit sacrificed to a lost cause in Afghanistan in an Alamo style shootout massicre to last woman just to prove a femenist point. If huge in numbers then fair does but i think they need support, both men and women fighters! Their fight but need support, Aircover etc.. Americans pulling out wholesale is not supporting them!, ive seen the news items and kabul has immensely, staggeringly advanced, its a shame theyre being abandoned wholesale " In the Taliban..do they not have moderates? Peace surely only comes, ultimately through talking.

They have the means. Super tuscanos for air strikes if necessary which is a amazing aircraft for that role. It was going to be a replacement for the A10. It's up to the people now." "Taking a ztep back, and, getting back on topic here "afghan women" if they want to fight then that's their choice, I saw a documentary on an afghan police woman, who despite loosing a limb is still working and an inspiration... If huge in numbers then fair does but i think they need support, both men and women fighters! Their fight but need support, Aircover etc.. You should have clearly known better to have given your pocket money over to the CIA. " Then the women become insurgents to the Taliban. Not that hard to figure out. So you saying women can not fight ? I think you need to wake up and smell what your shovelling! These women are putting their lives on the line, possibly end up dead, executed or worse and your cheering them on from the safety of bear creek and you call that an achievement? Will you be flying out there to give them a hand? I think not. Your quite a callous person aren't you. See that is theirs choice to not live in tryanny. Your oppression of women is showing too. I not callous I am factual. If I aspired someone to take a stand against women's rights well it's their choice to put it on the line to achieve it. Basically you saying let women suffer it for the greater good. Guess what "Middle finger" all women deserve that respect in all nations. You so skewed on their struggle because of media. Those Afghan women I met I would trust with my life. More then some of the men on here. Those women are fighters they will die unequivocally for their cause. I don't think you understand that point sitting behind a keyboard pretending you understand thinking you are righteous. They are a million times more righteous than keyboard warriors.its exact that he doesn’t understand at all but still argue with someone who’s been there maybe if you were a fella he would listen Come on, do you honestly believe just because they said they were there they were, it’s bull shit " why is it bullshit she sounds like she knows her shit about afganistan unlike you and me and most others on here do you believe jackal runs his own multi million business? He knows his shit about exporting maybe it is because she’s a woman that you don’t believe her then ?

That was Al-Qaeda not the Taliban You helped fund religious fundamentalists in Afghanistan. That's a fact because at the time it suited you. Plus I think you will find that was Saudi Arabia and Iran So America never funded Afghan rebels when the Russians invaded? Arent you contradicting yourself? Not at all I'm not the one who doesnt understand the difference between the Mujadheen, Talbian and Al-Qaeda. Being Mujadheen doesnt make you automatically Taliban or Al-Qaeda. When people say Mujadheen they generally mean those that fought against russia in the Afghan war but they fought each other aswell The Taliban originally come from Pakistan and took over after the power vacuum left by Russia. They are funded by Saudi Arabia. So there was absolutely no crossover between the mujhadeen and the Taliban? Muhjadeen = Sunni Taliban = Shia One moderate One is not. The Taliban was founded by some members of the mujhadeen who had previously fought the Russians.you mean the mujhadeen that bin laden fought for where he was grateful for the help from America then few decades later turns on them with his own terror group Yep When they were fighting the russians they were freedom fighters. But when they were fighting the Americans they became terrorists yes it would of been strange calling them freedom fighters after highjacking planes and crashing them into buildings don’t you think ?" Sort of missing my point

Americans pulling out wholesale is not supporting them!, ive seen the news items and kabul has immensely, staggeringly advanced, its a shame theyre being abandoned wholesale In the Taliban..do they not have moderates? Peace surely only comes, ultimately through talking. The Taliban Moderate Erm...you do realise I dudnt say the Taliban were moderate dont you? I asked where there moderate factions in the Taliban? Still it didnt seem to bother you, when you armed them to the teeth on the 80s. I armed no one. I'm not the CIA. Plus that was the Mujadheen not the Taliban... Should we of not armed them to fight against the Russians? If you think what we did was bad in Afghan I would recommend you do some research on the Russians during 79-89. "Direct quote from the OP: "... and any country that suppresses the right of women need to be put down at all costs." Fair enough. If the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe vs Wade, denying all your American sisters the right to an abortion, are you prepared to die, whilst in contravention of the new law, fighting to put down your own government because it's denying women their rights? I suspect not. The fact that you've served in Afghanistan doesn't necessarily prove you, personally, achieved anything - other than surviving it. And it certainly doesn't mean you get a pass for being called out because - on this issue, for sure - you're utterly full of shit."

" Was there a peace Accord. Yes there was the Afghan government and the Taliban wanted US troops out. We comply to their wishes and we are the bad Americans." Yes, but They've already broken the agreement by stepping up violence after agreeing to break away from terrorism and violence. Why would they bother to uphold their part of the bargain when they're getting what they want regardless? And with afghan security forces ill prepared.

Am i correct in assuming there's a resolution already in place as part of the withdrawal to use air support and to respond to afghan requests, and in taliban's breaking agreement at least. Even so it's still inadequate

"You the one who mention Trump lol. you're the one who isn't applauding joe for having a backbone and pulling out the grunts " I would have thought the afghans would be both trained up in numbers to deal with the taliban. My argument with the op is America has just pulled the plug and walked out, leaving the afghans to their fate, instead of an orderly withdraw
