What is it with Billionaires and Space? A secret desire to run away and hide from the real issues on the Planet? Or just little boys that never grew up?

I don't know what it is with them. It could be worse, though; at least they don't want to go all Hugo Drax - trying to press you to a cucumber sandwich and planning to kill you off from their space station.

All this rich pensioners in space bollocks is a massive waste of money but it won't harm anyone - unless they die in a fireball of some kind.

I worry for the Cats that they are stroking whilst telling us their dastardly plan!

And exploding tons of carcinogenic hydrazine into the atmosphere - often above wildlife preserves, for a jolly.

But at least Besos will tell you that he's on target to make all his delivery trucks EV.

Is it necessary? No but they still feel entitled to do it.

The space flights which the likes of Bezos and Branson plan to take are not just expensive, they are also dangerous. The CEOs of the respective companies flying along is a way for them to send across ala guarantee that the flights are well tested and it is safe to fly on them.

And of course, who wouldn't want to see the beautiful views from the space at least once before death?

As mentioned above, spending money on social causes like the way Bill Gates doesn't really seem to get any goodwill from people. To the contrary, they are being portrayed as villains. So why not just enjoy their own lives?
