If, say for example, you work in the NHS, and your boss, or at least the figurehead of your organisation, acted like that. After you’ve gone to places that you never thought you’d be able to, you might be a bit fucked off that he’s ignoring the guidelines he’s espousing!

What I find interesting is that footage or picture was taken from a government secure camera and anything these cameras see or record usually is not allowed into the public domain.

the operator who did this could face prosecution under data protection law and other laws which have been broken.

Doesn't matter if it's of public interest clearly someone had a grudge and should face imprisonment

Some lowly cctv operator is hardly likely to blow up the health secretary.

Why do you think they sat on it for 6 weeks?

That one is a Minister of State who for 16 months has been telling us not to meet others, hug mum's and dads etc and has blatantly ignored is..

And has broken the legislation in place at the time..

The story will develop as the game players leak that she was given a tax funded post by him in contravention of several codes etc, the knives have been out for weeks to set him up as the fall guy..

Printed first in the rag to slant it to the morally judgemental and distract from the corrupt ineptitude of this government and its piss poor handling of many aspects of the pandemic..

Agreed. He's intelligent and has already demonstrated he has at least a shred of integrity. Highly unusual for a Tory, in the current era.

I wonder if he'll be able to get all the money he needs for social care, from the man who replaced him at No.11?

Should be an interesting contest, since Sunak won't be able to bullshit him.

Its interesting to read the many of the comments on here.

Instead of his sheer ineptitude bringing him down, it was the fact he was playing away with a married woman which made him resign.

What makes this even more ridiculous, that the man had more sense than his own boss to sack himself.

Just mentioning that little tidbit.

Wasn't the alternative the Jew-hating racist, Jeremy Corbyn? A difficult choice with two such poor candidates, but it speaks of the integrity of the British people who would rather have a lying inept charlatan as a leader than a racist. At least a liar stands the chance of telling the truth on occasion, a racist will always be a racist.

Now you see ..just because someone thinks isreal are committing genocide on a daily basis, doesnt really make them a racist.

However if you could just provide some racist quotes he made,I'm sure I'll change my mind

Accidentally attending the funeral of a terrorist wasn't a great look, could happen to anyone on holiday I suppose.

One wrong turn in the hire car and before you know it there you are in amongst some Jihadis waving AK47s, we've all been there.

"In a country of 70m this was our choice . Thinking it through our elite society decides who we chose not us .

Corbyn not any other labour leader can take on the right wing press ad media in this country . That needs addressing .

I’m not a Corbyn fan but I’m also aware we are no longer a true democracy .

Banana republic is what keeps coming to mind with generalissimo Boris at the top with a powerful financial secret committee behind him.

No emojis, but I am sure this is ‘dramatic exaggeration’ again, yes?

"

Mmmmm I think it’s getting close to a Banana republic if over 60% of candidate MP’s are chosen by committees of the major parties in London! How are they representing the local people of their constituents if they tow the party line above all else?

But ... wait.. he did THAT right underneath a CCTV camera!?

What *WAS* he thinking? Unless he WANTED to be caught? Or the camera was covert??

It’s apparently right outside his office ...

hmmmm .... something not *quite* right about all this...

Having seen the full video now I’m totally CONVINCED somethings not quite right!

All looks a bit staged / odd .. weird behaviour .. "

Glad I wasn't the only one.

The footage looks too wobbly to be a CCTV camera. It looks like it was shot handheld.

https://apple.news/AWK26WgwqQdi6cim5hQTUeg

As much as I despise him,I doubt the ppe scandal rested solely at his door, which seems to be suggested.

I agree but it’s interesting how vitriolic that article is.

I think its just seeing him as a symptom of the whole shower of them.

I particularly liked the description of Johnson and can well believe that story about what he gets upto at cabinet meetings.

A big chunk of this country voted for a man knowing he was a lying inept charlatan.

This is all on them.

Plenty of Jewish people voted for labour ,

In case you get confused , plenty of people voted for labour when Corbyn was the leader "

I do remember poor Corby saying something about winning the debate but losing the election. You would think the two were mutually exclusive. I am no expert but didn't Labour suffer the worst election defeat since Lord Nelson was a cabin boy...

All this talk of Corbyn on a Hancock thread. Both losers both been kicked to the long grass.

Hancock is distinguished by his current ineptitude and murky practices however. Corbyn isn’t relevant anymore.

"Watches clouds roll past..

From the Guardian :

"He mentions an impassioned speech made at a meeting in parliament about the history of Palestine that was “dutifully recorded by the thankfully silent Zionists who were in the audience” (audience members he presumably knew nothing about). So far so bad. But it gets worse. He goes on to say that these unnamed Zionists in the audience “clearly have two problems. One is they don’t want to study history, and secondly, having lived in this country for a very long time, probably all their lives, they don’t understand English irony either … So I think they needed two lessons, which we can perhaps help them with.”

Possibly you aren't aware, but "Zionist" is not the same as "Jewish". Not all Jewish people are Zionists, and it is quite possible to be a Zionist without being Jewish. Some Jewish people are Zionists. Some Zionists are Jewish.

Explaining this with an example: Some Conservatives are English. Some English people are Conservatives. It is perfectly possible to criticise the aims of the Conservative party without implying any slur against the English people. It is also perfectly fair to reflect upon the history of England in oppressing and occupying neighbouring states without in any way being racist against English people.

Hope that this helps.

The thread is about Hancock

Then somehow it got diverted

by corbyn and anti semitism. Rather surprisingly no actual evidence has been provided, apart from an organisation which,a quick google search reveals, has a rather unhealthy obsession with the former leader.

In the meantime poor old chris had got his jews and Zionists mixed up.

Tbf, from the Guardian, Corbyn isn’t actually sure himself:

Then somehow it got diverted

by corbyn and anti semitism. Rather surprisingly no actual evidence has been provided, apart from an organisation which,a quick google search reveals, has a rather unhealthy obsession with the former leader.

In the meantime poor old chris had got his jews and Zionists mixed up.

"Watches clouds roll past..

.

Argue it out with the Guardian if you like.

My example was him attending a Palestinian terrorists funeral. Apparently that’s fine and dandy."

You sure about that?

For a start this thread isn't anything to do with him. And secondly, there is nothing in this thread that Corbyn is linked to.

Maybe you should aim that post at the person who brought corbyn up in a thread thats completely nothing to do with him?

Yesterday you asked us to stop quoting each other. You can't have it both ways.

Are you sure he attended a Palestinian terrorists funeral?

Tbf, from the Guardian, Corbyn isn’t actually sure himself:

Corbyn said “a wreath was indeed laid” for “some of those who were killed in Paris in 1992” and added in response to a question: “I was present at that wreath-laying, I don’t think I was actually involved in it.”

I'm still concerned about:

a. Hidden CCTV camera (apparently in a smoke detector) being leaked from within Whitehall.

b. Gmail's being found that show he sidestepped the gov.uk mail system.

Not withstanding he got caught being "handsy" with an aide, it begs the questions.

Who planted the CCTV camera? Easily done but you'd need access to what is supposed to be a secure environment.

Who authorised it? CCTV spy canera's don't pay for themselves.

Who recovered the video? If it was a mini camera it would have to be either wireless and monitored at relatively close range or recording onto a microSD card, unless it was hard wired into the building security. If it was part of the building internal security, why hide it in a smoke detector?

Who leaked it? So who had access to it in the first place.

A lot of questions.

Whilst the public have a right to know about decisions being made, there are commercial in confidence and myriad of other reasons why an office of the Secretary of State for Health should be private, and not just so he can bench his aide without being caught out.

Racists aren't always jack-booted thugs, sometimes, for example, they are small, insignificant people who work in non-medical roles in NHS hospitals. To make the world a better place for all marginalised minorities, both types need to be dealt with."

Of course you not.

You made a claim and have ,rather astoundingly, failed to back it up,with, what's that thing called,oh yeah.. evidence.

I've literally no idea what the NHS bit is about presumably someone you know who you have decided is a racist ,based on absolutely nothing ,but I'll bid you good day
