Shocking waste of goods by Amazon

I knew that gkod items were being thrown away but not to this extent.

Other olaces like ikea are just as wasteful, and seen huge amounts being wasted.

In france, its illegsl to do this, so, should we have the same laws? At least companies would be forced to be less wasteful in how they operate

I returned some trainers the other week. The local shop / pick up took them out the box and stuffed them in the return bag & binned the box.

I asked will they not need the box to be able to sell, he explained they don’t offer returns for resale. Went on that they sell pallets off cheap as a job lot. Thousand of pounds on a pallet sold for say £200. Perhaps they just throw it away? They were a £100 pair of Merrels!
