Hurrah for Whiskey

Looks like the tariffs imposed on single malt by the Trump admin have been suspended for 5 years.

I think we can say this is definitely good news for the Whiskey industry as sales fell by more than a third when this tariff was introduced.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure you will!), but my understanding is that if there's an 'e' in the country of origin (Ireland, America etc.) it's "whiskey", if there isn't (Scotland, Japan...) then it's "whisky".

But don't ya just hate asking for bourbon and being served Jack Daniels!

Whiskey is an EU product as its part of the

Single Market .

Whisky isnt .
