(ps I'm not Welsh, I'm Yorkshire. Although I do live in Wales.) However, Cornwall might be a Celtic clue? Jeez this is getting deep.

"I don't know about the languages spoken, but it must be very frustrating for the caterers when they are told they are cooking for the G7 and then 9 turns up for dinner... ![]() Mwaaahhhhh Not to mention the significance of sea food? oh, and trawlers, and French fishermen, and channel islands and nuclear powered electricity via undersea pipelines, and oh, lets not go on about this shizzle.

"I'd put money on none of them being fluent in Cornish, Gallic, Gaelic or Breton. According to https://www.babbel.com/en/magazine/the-10-most-spoken-languages-in-the-world Spanish the is world's second natively spoken language (after mandarin) so that probably doesn't score massively high, either. Pretty certain they all have a smattering of English (which is just above mandarin as the most widely spoken) but some of them won't risk a serious discussion without an interpreter." How about we consider the Normans? Bayeux, 1066 and all that. Harold or Edward? William the Conqueror, was he English? Falaise.
