"So apparently players being made to wear a poppy at a match is not political. Despite the fact that a high profile irish player has caused controversy by refusing to wear one and many people also choose not to wear one or where white ones instead. Whereas players choosing to take the knee in protest at instructional racism is a political act and has no place in football. Who knew? Double standards, let’s ban poppy wearing by sports people " Yeah but a poppy is not political. I'm sure all our Irish friends would agree. You also dont have a choice to wear a poppy Whereas taking the knee is voluntary.

"No it was on their website until they took it down. Defund the police, deconstruct capitalism and destroy the nuclear family. They removed it but it's still there in wayback machine. Patrice C is a self confessed communist who is being investigated over her multiple house purchases. BLM is a political organisation. Forcing people who attend sporting games to go along with this ideology is wrong because many do not agree with the group BLM. Hence the booing. " Who Is being forced?

"So apparently players being made to wear a poppy at a match is not political. Despite the fact that a high profile irish player has caused controversy by refusing to wear one and many people also choose not to wear one or where white ones instead. Do you have proof of this ? Ah, the dawn of realisation flashes across your face Well not really . As I pers9nally know Gareth Bales representative Hes not an Agent but an accountant . Lovely fellow , Jewish guy . Started out as Lee Bowyers accountant . Does all the deals , No agents . I spoke to him last month . No agent or accountant he has spoken to Has suggested anything of the sort to the players They represent . Jonathan Barnett who has been investigated for numerous things over the years as well as receiving fines and bans? Yeah, he probably tells the truth Nope his name is Melvyn Barnett just had the contact at Real Good try though . I wasn't trying. Jonathan Barnett is Gareth Bales agent. He represent Bale Nothing Bale does is done until Melvyn looks at the figures . If they are good then Bale does a deal . Anyway what makes you talk about Bennet not Talking " truths " Are you talking about a 12.month ban For organising a secret meeting for Cashley Cole ? Yet you Believe Boris even though he has a Lifetime ban from the Spectator . He was found guilty of Lying to the Queen etc . I thought you might have Liked someone like Bennet . Im really trying to understand what your point of view is . Of course Bale and other footballers have their accountants look at figures, that goes without saying. Who said I believe Boris? I just said Barnett isn't trustworthy, that's all. Why because he did something 15 years ago ? So do you trust England cricketer Ollie Robinson ? I wonder what his views on Taking the knee in football are ? Ollie was a kid when saying those things. Which are now coming back to haunt him. Does it make it right? No it doesn't. Do I think he was wrong? Yes I do. What has it got to do with trusting him? He was 18 and legally a Man Not a Kid . As this is a thread about racism I think its rather relevant . Yet You hold someone in contempt for doing his job as untruthful Yet excuse someones racist & Sexist behaviour as naiverty of youth . That is the point . I'd be far happier not to talk to someone who holds morals in some cases , then stamps on Morals they really should have on other issues. My politeness to answer a reply holdsme though. Feel free not to respond . If you do , i will of course politelycome back to you I asked what relevance me trusting him had? You brought up the agent. Then you brought up the cricketer. Yes I said he was a kid, 17/18. I also said it was wrong. You seem to have some kind of agenda here, I'm not sure what it is though. I didnt bring up an agent Somebody else brought agents up If you are going to make false accusations I think we should leave it there . Ollie Robinson has been dropped by the way for the 2nd test according to reports in the press . Because of Those Racist Sexist tweets . Fair enough, you didn't bring it up, I was wrong on that. You said you knew Gareth Bales representative. That's where I came into the conversation because I assumed you were talking about his agent. You falsely claim his account does the deal without agents. If you're gonna run around crying about false accusations, make sure you have your statements correct. As far as I'm aware Ollie hasn't been dropped yet, he should be for the full series though. Again another accusation I said his accountant tells Gareth Yes or No On Financial attributes to the deals . If he says Yes it means go do it If he says No , he tends not to . So until Gareth Signs stuff no one gets a dealb. You claim i stated something You were wrong a apologised You made a 2nd allegation About falsely blah blah . When i have spoken personally to the accountant & He tells me how its going then i tend to believe him . Just as i would believe you if you said Pele said you were a nice person . As for Ollie R Im only going by News articles . You sure?? 'Well not really . As I pers9nally know Gareth Bales representative Hes not an Agent but an accountant . Lovely fellow , Jewish guy . Started out as Lee Bowyers accountant . Does all the deals , No agents .' Your words, not mine Yes i know And im still correct . You do see that dont you . As regulations changed after numerous Football agents were persuing dodgy tactics Lots of players niw sign upto agencies To make contacts with the clubs . Its then hat the accountant steps into to do the deals . You seem to be confusing stuff from 15 years ago Before Bale was even playing proper Football & Now . Football has moved on Fella . Its all about players & accountants Not players & agents . Ah yeah. You must be right. There must not be a list of registered intermediaries (agents). BTW, there's only one Melvyn on the list, and he isn't an accountant " Im sure there must be a list of intermediaries The fact that the Melvyn i know may or may not be on it is irrelevant . Unless you post a link to show it of course. 8m not sure John Grisham isnt thought Of as an Accountant but as an author . "This thread has gone miles off topic. Gary Lineker said today: “if you are booing players for taking the knee, you are part of the reason that they are doing it.” Racists don’t want to be embarrassed about the rights to be racist and do claim that multi-Millionnaire footballers are supporting a Marxist cause. Perfectly reasonable people accept that this is just the way that the players themselves have chosen to make a stand against the racist and intolerant abuse that they get on a daily basis." Yup Fully agreed

"Football has certainly come a long way since the 70s and 80s and despite what was said above,no body is forcing the players to do anything. All the talk of Marxist organisations tells you more about a posters own beliefs than the wishes of the players. " It certainly does .

"Football has certainly come a long way since the 70s and 80s and despite what was said above,no body is forcing the players to do anything. All the talk of Marxist organisations tells you more about a posters own beliefs than the wishes of the players. Is BLM an organisation set up by known Marxists? Yes or no Lionel?" "So apparently players being made to wear a poppy at a match is not political. Double standards, let’s ban poppy wearing by sports people Try looking up the definition of politics. The wearing of a poppy is not political. Blm are a political organisation who among other things want to defund the police. That is your ‘interpretation’ the players taking the knee have a different opinion, do you respect that ? The players have no interpretation other than that their agents told them it would be better for them commercially if they took the knee. Which should be offensive to everyone. Im really trying to understand what your point of view is . Of course Bale and other footballers have their accountants look at figures, that goes without saying. Who said I believe Boris? I just said Barnett isn't trustworthy, that's all. Why because he did something 15 years ago ? So do you trust England cricketer Ollie Robinson ? I wonder what his views on Taking the knee in football are ? Ollie was a kid when saying those things. Which are now coming back to haunt him. Does it make it right? No it doesn't. Do I think he was wrong? Yes I do. What has it got to do with trusting him? He made a serious mistake with those tweets but has apologisd. What more can he do. How long is he to be punished for. I'm very sad to see people who have no respect for those who gave their lives for us, its shameful I'm very sad to see people who have no respect for those who have suffered and gave their lives to try and stop racism, shameful Who has said they have no respect for those who have suffered racism, just put the quotes up. Blm are a political organisation who among other things want to defund the police. That is your ‘interpretation’ the players taking the knee have a different opinion, do you respect that ? The players have no interpretation other than that their agents told them it would be better for them commercially if they took the knee. Which should be offensive to everyone. BTW, there's only one Melvyn on the list, and he isn't an accountant Im sure there must be a list of intermediaries The fact that the Melvyn i know may or may not be on it is irrelevant . Unless you post a link to show it of course. 8m not sure John Grisham isnt thought Of as an Accountant but as an author . Still that the beauty of Booing players at Wembley Opens up a world of knowledge when someone decides to try & distract a thread away from its original cause . Taking the knee & booing players We're gonna leave it there i think. The fact that you seem to think you know a lot but actually know very little tells me a lot more about this conversation than you may be aware of. I've enjoyed this The fact that you think you know what im about Through this Conversation leaves you open to being seriously shocked & suprised at a time in the future no doubt in a differdnt discussion The arrogance of an I Know claimer Is being set up once again . I like how you have managed to escape from The BLMM comment though . Trump? Federer? Clapton? You bring the laughs we'll give you that Let’s be honest, bang knowing Bales accountant is more credible than You knowing and speaking to professors You having a sailing boat You eating lobster when the pound moves up 0.01% on the euro And is far more credible than you prediction that the pound would be at 1.40 against the Euro in June At this stage I just hope he’s not been suckered into some ponzi scheme by “Melvyn who claims to be an accountant” 1.40 by June, comedy gold fab you still sticking to Boris be gone by end of the year lol" Definitely

"So apparently players being made to wear a poppy at a match is not political. Despite the fact that a high profile irish player has caused controversy by refusing to wear one and many people also choose not to wear one or where white ones instead. Double standards, let’s ban poppy wearing by sports people Try looking up the definition of politics. The wearing of a poppy is not political. Why are so many people deciding that taking the knee is somehow a symbol of BLM support when the players - to a man have said it isn’t? Are we going to go back to Colin Kaepernick in 2016 and accuse him retrospectively of supporting BLM which actually only came to prominence both sides of the Atlantic after the death of George Floyd. Taking the knee has long been a symbol of opposition to racism and intolerance. As has been said many times on here and elsewhere, those who choose to conveniently now associate taking the knee with BLM are both denying historical context and making an excuse for their own racist ideas.

So I'm racist because i WON'T take a knee and don't support the organisation that is BLM ( a communist organisation )....laughable.....what does that make BLM supporter's who murdered their fellow blacks over the last year or so...or are they to use a blm term uncle Tom's so they don't count." When were you asked to take a Knee What Game ?

What has BLM got to do with: 1) Colin Kaepernick who took the knee five years ago? 2) Modern day football players in England? If modern day footballers are promoting a political cause (which they say they aren’t), what was Kaepernick doing in 2016 before almost anyone had ever heard of BLM?

"Here is my take… if you decide not to applaud the people taking the knee.. that’s a choice If you decide to boo the people taking the knee… you are a part of the reason why people feel they need to take the knee! Come again? If white people choose to boo other white people for taking the knee, they are.... racist?" If white supporters are booing white players because those white players are kneeling in solidarity with their black team mates, then the indication by default is that the supporters are booing players who are making a stand against racism. That is what makes those supporters part of the problem.

They were not soft arsed back then and you knew exactly who the racists were because they made no secret of it. Racists these days are just scared of being called out for what they are.

"those booing are easily identified as racist. As has been said define racist " I have no idea what the “official” definition of racism is, but I think it is widely accepted that when people face prejudices, discrimination, or antagonism that is directed against them directed because they are of a different ethnicity, background or culture - that is pretty much racism summed up. Football supporters in the 1960’s, sang songs and made gestures against opposing black players that were disgusting. Those kinds of things stopped at matches but the sentiment amongst supporters has never gone away. I would go as far as to say that many football supporters feel themselves to be above the constraints of normal society, especially when the herd mentality kicks in. They just don’t want any more infringements on their rights to “feel” that they should have the right to express themselves any way they want - including with offensive racist gestures. They can’t say that though can they because it would be against the law. Instead they say they are booing a political gesture (despite knowing full well that equality, tolerance and decency is nothing to do with politics).

"if they sang in support of wild life/saving planet id boo, not because i hate wild life but because i dont want to hear them fucking sing.... the first few times i would grin and nod support and then id think, shut up and get on with it..... at football matches this would happen quicker than at wimbledon tennis club, not because wimbledon supports wild life more but because the people attending dont like to make a fuss (generalization) and eat strawberries! but football/beer! who has stopped clapping the NHS? we did it for a bit and then thought enough now..... ok its not the exact same but you get the point. Its just another view... " Thanks for the Twighlight zone episode. Now Back to the booing of players for taking the Knee at Wem-ber-lee .

Those supporters booing are booing a ten second segment of a likely two time frame that they are in the stadium.
