Cummings - what is he?

Sorry folks I know there are other Cummings threads but after yesterday I gotta ask...

Do you think Cummings is:

A) The clever but slightly odd kid at school who had a miserable time being bullied who is now exacting his revenge on the people of the UK by sowing anarchy (Brexit, Covid, trying to bring down govt/establishment)

B) A Russian funded Agent Provocateur who has helped to destabilise both the UK and EU by weakening both economically and militarily (to Russia’s advantage) and is now further destabilising the UK, initially via being inside the inner circle and now exposing how useless it is.

in Lancashire

There's probably a c, d or e..

He's a complex character certainly, undoubtedly a clever strategist who the current PM tied his ship to and is now reaping what he sowed..

Would strongly think he has other dirt, more substantiated possibly for a book..

From what I have seen of this guy, very egotistical. I think he believes the hype surrounding himself. Also, I don’t buy this kind of voice of sanity in the Johnston inner circle during the early stages of the pandemic. He is as much to blame for the pathetic handling of the coronavirus response as all members of government are.

Cummings, what is he?

In it for himself, but if he can do anything to get one over on anyone else then he will regardless of who they are.

We all thought he'd gone for an eye test because of the GSK laboratories & offices in Barnard Castle. Yet GSK have yet to confidently enter the Covid vaccine marketplace.

However, Assured Screening are probably doing quite well thanks to their positioning in the testing and screening marketplace.

I’d go with A.

But it is worth considering how many things we all called out about Boris that are now being endorsed by DC. However much one might dislike DC, Boris was in charge & it was he who made the mistakes…

London

Neither really.

He has a vision for Britain's economy and industry becoming very tech based, setting up a big research organisation and such like.

Which isn't in itself terrible at all, it's just to do that he felt Brexit was necessary, and then he attached himself to Boris as the man to help him get that done.

Obviously he was very wrong on the latter, and Brexit may very well set this country back too much for it to be a major tech player (please don't bother with arguments on this point, I just can't, it's so tiresome).

He might well be back with another Tory PM one day, though.
