https://www.rte.ie/news/2021/0525/1223908-dail-middle-east/

The Government has recognised Israel's illegal settlements as a de facto annexation of Palestinian land.

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Simon Coveney, said a Sinn Féin bill on the issue "is a clear signal of the depth of feeling across Ireland.".

Kudos also to the organisation

PEACE NOW .

Ireland again leads Europe

With its government standing upto

An Opresssor .

It was the 1st EU country to stand upto apartheid

In South Africa & Change came from there help for

The abolishment of that heinous regime .

Well done to the island of my Birth ,

Especially with TDs asking for Sinn Fein to

Include an amendment to condem Hamas &

Its actions in the past , which was done by Sinn Fein .

Lets see if this changes some things for the benefit of all in

Palestine & Israel .

Jeez very big of them. As if Ireland is going to actually get involved. It’s just empty rhetoric. Ridiculous.

The Israelis are so concerned about this they've armed and mobilised the Tel Aviv Ladies over 80's bowls team. As we speak, they are being air-dropped to the nearest Israel/Ireland border to bolster defences

"Is this the same government that is the most corrupt in Europe and for years allowed IRA terrorists to hide from prosecution for terrorist acts they carried out?? Bit of hypocrisy there !!"

It is the same Government that eventually escaped 400+

years of torture & attempted Genocide by those in power

At Westminster !

The oppressed will always react against the Opressor .

Funny that Ireland was subjected to a Cyber attack 2 days or

So after the Israeli ambassador smirked through questioning about

The recent attacks in Palestine .

Also look into what a small nation like Ireland

Was warned off by Israel in the recent past .

After again calling out Israels continuous abuse of

Human Rights .

P.S

During the 70s & 80s onoy 1 country surpassed

The amount of charges for breaches of human rights

Brought against Israel .

Can you guess who it was ?

Yeah the U.K .

"They have carried out cyber attacks on iran"

Yes i read about that .

So in theory , they are capable .

A police investigation would look for motive though .

I suppose israel doesnt have any motive to attack a

Little country like Ireland

Who stands up for 1 of Israels enemies .

big difference in Iran though....the minor one being they fund Hamas and Hezbollah..the guys you seem to champion but who have in their charters the destruction off Israel as their number one aim..through to Iran nearly being nuclear capable ( like we need that fking nightmare ) and who also want to see Israel wiped off the map.

What are you on about, your posts are getting quite hard to make sense of tbh

“Most breaches of human rights in the seventies and eighties” uh?

What compared to Uganda, China, Cambodia, Iran, etc etc etc

Utterly ridiculous, zero credibility with me

Looking up the 1978 case, the judgment was that the UK had Not committed torture. Appealed by Ireland in 2018, appeal rejected.

Is that it? Pretty weak sauce innit?

I'd spend more time worrying about the current state of the rest of the world tbh than minor marginal historic cases concerning the Empire.
