I’m wearing a Palestinian kuffieh scarf honey- in solidarity for the open air prison that is Gaza. C. 1.6m whose population can’t get in or out of there. 65% are under age of 24 and majority women and children. They’re being bombed mercilessly by one of the most advanced armies in the world. I can’t watch this shit happen again. Only thing I have left in my power to do is boycott. Wrong site for this I know but I gotta vent somewhere

I think if the average USA taxpayer knew c $4bn/year goes there there would be a super grassroots movement to change things. Their media is insanely biased sadly but it is happening

Can’t say there is a difference between the sides. As long as Hamas has the stated aim of the destruction of Israel, and Israel continues to send settlers into other peoples land, then innocent people will continue to die.

If you are going to bycott isreali goods you better throw away your smartphone and computer and just about everything electronic as they all depend on micro chips manufactured by the isreali/us firm INTEL

I suppose you could use devices with Chinese chips, which are the only alternative, but i guess you have a major problem with the Chinese also as they are mistreating some Muslim sect or something

Boycott brought C. 5m south Afrikaans to their knees. This is not America or China. This is a country without about same total population who gets $4bn of American funding annually (more if you include what isn’t directly reported). Each of us taking a stand against apartheid can make a difference. Gandhi did it with salt war, others did the same. Peaceful resistance by every student, trade union and individual boycotting is the only way. I’m doing it no matter how much logic you throw at me. Dignity and the right to live in peace and move freely and control your air, water, land, imports belongs to all peoples not just those with the big armies. Seventy years of colonial barbarianism had to end. Fuck this shit. I’m livid.

what goods,specifically are you boycotting, which brand names and products etc. Are produced in Israel,

It’s all available to see online under BDS movement. My primary focus will be anything made in illegal settlements. That is fair. You can’t steal land, water, and then expect to work and sell your goods internationally.

I will then look at the country bar codes and stop buying foods weekly produced there too.

Anyway. I realise this isn’t the right place to talk about it all. I just woke up to the news of more kids dead this morning and flipped a bit.
