Interesting that since I’ve started doing it, I’ve noticed quite a few other sloops flying the red ensign off the forecastle, I am a bit of a trend setter.

... nobody else in the WORLD would fly their national flag or Ensign in any other than the most senior position, i.e. the stern.

I previously explained my small sports transom and marlin line that prevents an aft most positioning.
