The answer is to have asylum application points in the countries they are coming from, eg the eu could set up some in Libya and turkey the uk could set up in France and anyone who enters the country without going through these points would immediately be sent back to where they left from.

Once the word got around these people would not be paying crooks their life savings to transport them.

The whole world truly needs to get a grip on migration/immigration/refugees the shock of this story is the beatings and violence that some EU are metering out on them.

Migrants on a rock in the sea?

The EU is paying £43 million to keep thousands of African refugees on the Canary Islands.

Spain has taken the women and children but refuses to allow access to the mainland for the males.

NGOs describe it as a tragedy in the making.

She wanted the navy to intercept them and block their passage. Where would that leave them but in the sea? I don't think she mentioned what would be done after that... so yes, the implication is she wanted to leave them in the sea.

Naturally the scheme was branded dangerous and illegal.

Before any British person tries to play the "oh we're better than the EU in our treatment of refugees" card, go research some of the stuff that has happened in the Yarlswood detention centre for women. Come back when you are properly ashamed of being English.

Because Farage and his supporters hate refugees (breaking point poster , etc) , the remain campaign could have made a similar poster showing refugees being beaten

The EU doesn't beat them. Some EU states have been accused of beating them. Hyperbole aside, you do recognise that one of the things Farage and his supporters pushed for was a hard line stance on immigration and refugees? Hyperbole aside, that's exactly what these nations are accused of doing, to the point of shameful illegality.

Ironically the episode does undermine arguments that EU states are under the slavish command of the central administration. Britain always had plenty of leeway with regards to this and many other issues... but you wouldn't know it listening to some of the ludicrous claims of the right wing.

oh sorry, i caught fab bullshit itus! lol

That made no sense,

No sense to you, but you dont even understand conservative thinking or why people voted for trump.. That's because your mind is trapped in a very small box, oppressed by a negative unseen regime.... it needs to seek asylum lol

Resorting to insults?

Yawn...... need an argument? Lonely? Some attention?

You said I was talking nonsense, that I made no sense? Now you're saying I'm insulting you! lol

Your post was confusing, your insults were clear , "

How? explain why you think not understanding why people voted trump is an insult? Actually don't bother.... I find your posts dreary.... thats not an insult... I just do... like you find my hard to understand (kisses)

if people kept trying to come through my front door uninvited id get pissed off to! i only have one bed ffs... arrive in a yacht and try and claim asylum but arrive in a dinghy with a few friends and helloooooo, the system discriminates against yacht owners!

ive paid good money to sail across the atlantic, i didnt know there were free trips going! Is farage even an mp any more? didnt think so..... so what the hell is he doing on the thread... is he working as an aid worker now? helping refugees who arrive in greece? and is hungary still surrounded by barb wire against all eu rules? scotland has plenty of room..... fill an island and throw the snp fan base out of balance... all possibles under blair, keir starmer is thinking about it...

oh sorry, i caught fab bullshit itus! lol

"Migrants on a rock in the sea?

The EU is paying £43 million to keep thousands of African refugees on the Canary Islands.

Spain has taken the women and children but refuses to allow access to the mainland for the males.

NGOs describe it as a tragedy in the making.

I like the Canary Islands, I have had some great holidays over there "

How nice

"So. Patel didn't say leave them in the Sea then.

Good. Glad we now have the truth about that one.

She wanted the navy to intercept them and block their passage. Where would that leave them but in the sea? I don't think she mentioned what would be done after that... so yes, the implication is she wanted to leave them in the sea.

Naturally the scheme was branded dangerous and illegal.

She will fully endorse these ‘allegations’ directed at the EU, if these ‘stories’ were around before the referendum the UK would have definitely have voted to remain and Farage would have flipped sides Why do you think that then?

Because Farage and his supporters hate refugees (breaking point poster , etc) , the remain campaign could have made a similar poster showing refugees being beaten Hate that seems a bit strong and you deduce that all Farage supporters hate refugees and would have voted remain knowning the eu beats them? you have a very warped mind.

It’s only a hunch, I guess hate is a strong word, but Farage and his supporters do seem to dislike refugees, "

And you have spoken to each and every one of them ?

Okay well. I see we have excused those EU member countries from beating their refugees by claiming we don't beat them. But we could be nicer.

Those EU countries are innocent until we are nicer to ours.

Next case.
