"It's funny that people "just don't care." Yet it wasn't that long ago that people cared immensely about the way Ed Milliband ate a sandwich. They cared massively about how Jeremy Corbyn dressed and the size of his poppy. Within living memory, we all got upset about MP's expenses and cash for questions. What has changed?? Well, if you look hard and are prepared to put bias to one side it is obvious. Real politics has been cast aside and now it is all about identity politics. These really are dangerous times for the UK and yet people are sleepwalking into the loss of democracy because of whom they presently identify with. " people do care about the expenses and cash for questions but I don’t think they give a shit about a sarnie or a poppy that’s just the media with fuck all else to report on stoking up shit

"Long as labour don’t get anywhere near being the Government can overlook the con party’s sleaze This right here is where we're at. People have been convinced not to care how corrupt the government is, because the alternative is the bogey man. " It certainly was with Corbyn. (With his strings being pulled by Momentum/Militant Tendency from Liverpool). We didn't need the press to tell us that.

I disagree about most people caring because we should demand better news and we don't. Our media, like our politics, is a reflection of what we presently identify with.
