To have lost in a court of Law against Amazons tax liabilities?

(I have to declare that I use Amazon almost every other day. Along with other online suppliers.)

Sounds like vestager the European competition commissioner is another freeloader not up to the job but nice to see they want the uk to try and sort the tax problems out for them.

Monaghan called on the UK to use its role as the host of the G7 gathering next month to take “a once-in-a generation opportunity for progressive change” of the US’s proposals to radically overhaul global tax rules to stamp out multinational tax avoidance.

Spurious courts cases like this, along with losing to Apple to a bit ago, has to be costing a fortune to EU citizens.

The EU did win a couple of cases today against French company Energie and Fiat.

The fact that they can't nail Apple and now Amazon, means a lot of time and money has been very much wasted.

The Amazon case was a similar amount, result EU lost. Starbucks also a multi million Euro case, result EU lost. The Apple case a whopping 13 billion , result EU lost
