Looks like Edwin Poots is set to ban recreational sex if he becomes next DUP leader in Northern Ireland. He quoted as saying sex is for pro creating only. Utter lunacy that this party is so connected to religious fundamentalism and is so popular over here.

The residents of Northern Ireland are hardly going to be bothered in the slightest by this information and it is probably of no interest to anyone anyway ( we do not even know if it is true ).

What the residents of Northern Ireland are interested in are a sound economy and as things stand the majority still want to maintain the Union .

Recreational sex would be irrelevant to anyones agenda. .

Whoever becomes the next leader of the DUP, we can all be assured that they will start straightaway trying to make life difficult for Johnson.

The only assumption that can logically be made about the DUP’s support of Brexit was they hoped that it would signal the return of some kind of border on the island and the physical manifestation of a separation between N Ireland and Eire.

I am happy to to be told differently, but logic suggests that this was their idea of a perfect Brexit outcome and instead, they got their worst Brexit outcome.

you really should meet some of these people face to face, it is beyond incredible they are sectarian, homophobic, racist and downright bigotry, how they are tolerated in a modern society like the UK is beyond me, if they were living on what you call the mainland they would have been locked up years ago, but then again the British government has always had one set of laws for themselves and another set of laws for for areas that they have conquered in the past

He is probably a lot more tolerant that some people posting on here who think that it is only their opinion counts. The crucial point is that he represents a very significant proportion of the population of Northern Ireland and his constituents are very appreciative of all the work that he has done for them .

At least Thursdays election result proved that making derogatory remarks about others does not get you very far in life.

I think that I would prefer to accept the slightly more objective opinion based on the electorates preference when they cast their vote. Unto recently the DUP were the party in NI which held the largest number of seats and may well do so again in the future .

NI residents are very grateful to the DUP for looking after their interests

Historically the dup have been the 2nd party in the 6 counties

The UUP were the powerbase from 1921 -1972

They have shared the run of ut since to

Trimble McGuiness etc .

Still if knew about politics there you would know that
