"https://news.sky.com/story/wise-floats-idea-of-4bn-introduction-to-london-stock-exchange-12250547 More good news. " There are two sides to this story (well three actually). 1) Taken at face value, this has to be good news for the City as it infers confidence in London as a financial centre. 2) There was a fear that the U.K. would make a post -Brexit dash to be Singapore on Europe’s doorstep. Is this an indication of that or just a positive outcome as per (1). 3) There definitely was a fear that post-Brexit Britain would see an even bigger reduction in the quality of jobs in this country and a huge expansion of the gig economy. This news suggests that this is now more likely, than unlikely.

" Every Deliveroo worker will get a payout on flotation, upto £10K for the longest serving. Its noticeable that their big rivals, Just Eat, are moving their employees onto hourly paid and I expect Deliveroo to follow suit (they have set aside £122 million for claims on this) With Amazon holding a 16% stake in Deliveroo, this listing is expected to raise £7 billion and to be massively oversubscribed.

Apparently they can change a few things to make London more attractive place to trade and have started. The old news of some going from London to Europe is exactly that, old news and has to happen due to EU rules not what the companies choose
