Covid Enquiry, why the delay?

Why hasn’t there been public enquiry into the handling of the covid pandemic yet?

Isn’t it time already, or is this government going to push it so far into the future that everyone will forget about it? and those who were responsible for the response have retired.

Looks to me like a cover up in the making.

It is definitely being kicked into the long grass. I often wonder why the Govt & Ministers aren’t heldvto the same levels of accountability as Company Directors (& that isn’t strong enough)

For those that are interested, the would be Corporate Manslaughter...

“Corporate manslaughter is a criminal offence where a business or organisation is found to have caused a person's death. Your business can be prosecuted for the offence of corporate manslaughter if the way in which its activities are managed causes a death through a gross breach of duty of care to the deceased.”

True. Still plenty of time for the Tories to line their, and their mates, pockets.

You are only seeing what they want you to see, they have total control on what the media publishes. It doesn't take a lot of digging around on the 'tinter-net' to find out what the real problems are (obviously you should be intelligent enough to cypher through the pulp out there) Please wake up people! This is just going to go on and for a long, long time. It's a virus, it will always mutate to survive, This year it's 2 required vaccines, followed by the by annual boosters for the next mutations along with the controlling lockdowns...

If we open up in June as planned. Announce the inevitable enquiry.

Too soon at the moment.

There is definitely something going on behind the scenes, the kunsverg piece,Cummings 2 cents.

There will be too much pressure to kick it onto the long grass.

We could leave the eu during a worldwide crises but we cant investigate the failings that led to over 120,000 deaths.

Says it all really.

An inquiry before May elections.

What an absurd idea!

Also, kinda pointless.

No one will be held accountable.

People vote Tory no matter how many of us die from their incompetence, or how many billions of pounds of public money they siphon into the bank accounts of Tory donors.

Said all along I think Hancock will be thrown under the bus.

Alex will obviously take no responsibility but it will be nice to be seem him made to actually answer questions.

Far to early for an enquiry now is not the time we are still fighting pandemic.

We are winning lets win this war then look back we do not need distractions

Far too early, of course. We could proceed with Brexit and tank the economy but we haven’t got time to learn some lessons, and yes attribute some accountability
