So Italy block vaccines getting to Australia with the backing of the EU and now they are saying the US shouldn't block any doses going to the EU from USA.

Is this for real or am I just being a standard EU hating brexiteer???

Don't try and call me out on the source, it's a FT article but I don't subscribe

Well where’s the UK in all of this? Not saying two shits about helping the Aussies out? All Brexiteers do is point out everyone else’s flaws but not their own, smacks of hypocrisy.

I'd be more than happy for us to be sending vaccines to Australia.

The hypocrisy here is the EU blocking vaccines and then telling the US they shouldn't block vaccines to them.

It’s all very sad how Brussels is damaging the life prospects of European citizens, and managing to piss off other countries in the world as well.

Really don't see the US playing ball on this, the EU has piles of AZ vaccine it has not used. The US will need all it can make, much like the UK - it is being issued and used, in the EU it is not.

Shame the EU refuse to look at the white cliffs and read the results the UK vaccine effort is having on the virus here. Considering the likes of France had curfews and localised lockdowns on top, they are still having issues with the spread of the virus.

With the news from Austria this evening then it would suggest that the use of AZ in the EU just isn't going to happen as citizens will refuse it even more now.
