The financial centre in London is now bust - well done, another brexit nail in the coffin.

As for europe breaking apart because the UK left, it is very clear that those who were wavering have reaffirmed their commitment to Europe after watching the brexit fiasco and outcomes.

Weasel Gove negotiating on our behalf. What a mess the UK is in now.

A major lesson to other countries to not be so fucking stupid - that’s what we have become.

Manchester

Lot of commissions going there !

Must be a few million £ but don’t worry we’ve only lost 7500 of the higher paid jobs so far in the city so all good . It’s a win by any other measure I’m sure .

Carbon trading is moving next at £1B a day so. Commissions in Amsterdam but clearing will stay with U.K. banks according to FT.

It was also noted a lot of the foreign nationals working in the U.K. for the banks and traders are slowly moving back to their own countries so not classed as Job loss, just a move as they are still employed by the U.K. bank but paying tax in another country.

More room on the docklands light railway so another win.

North Bucks

Slight blip. Once we get rid of all those pesky regulations we will be awash with mucky cash and financial practices.

Some context and detail on this headline based story - Gerard Lyons, “No, Amsterdam hasn’t overtaken the City”

Worth a read for balance.

It was discussed on LBC last night as well. Basically no measurable effect whatsoever.
