"... a sequel, if you like, to his 2005 book when he wrote not only wrote about a Prime Minister, but an entire lying political class https://www.theguardian.com/books/2005/apr/23/highereducation.news1 "He asserts that Britain, not quite uniquely, is in the grip of a New Labour political class that has little understanding of the meaning of truth and scant regard for it anyway. By this reckoning Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and their entourages are practised liars,.." Lionel, no doubt your copy of his 2005 is very well thumbed by now, and so the release of his new book will now become your go-to reference for all things about political lying ? Have you ordered your copy of the new book?" Yep I saw that. He saw how the lying began under blair so therefore his book on boris can hardly be judged as being biased?

"Not that I have suggested the author of the book is biased, I can't comment on his books as I haven't read either of them. Neither have I suggested the author of the review is biased, so again, I/you would need to read the book to be able to form an opinion, and then decide if the reviewers comments are fair or not. Sounds reasonable, yes? " Fair enough I did think it interesting that even coming from a tory..he doesn't even consider boris to be a true conservative.
