I had read about the uniformed person kneeling at his sons grave in Delaware for the duration of the inauguration - very poignant.
I know there is a great deal of speculation and humour around the contents of a note that the outgoing President left for Biden. Biden has said he doesn't want to share that until he has spoken with its author - I hope there will be an opportunity to find out so we can know what it is that Biden considers "very generous"
"I genuinely hope it was gracious. I've spent a lot of time in the states and I visited under three different presidents at times of economic boom and of economic downturn. I was only there once during the Trump years. It was the weirdest time to be there. | |||

" Very much so. And while we are inclined at times to run off at mouth we also should remember that even Presidents are real people with real families. | |||
