the land of saints & sinners

This could be seen two ways either the Dutch government are taking collective responsibility or a cynic would see it as avoiding a vote of no confidence in their parliament next week and thus be able to return to power in a new coalition government.....

Breaking news - the British Government said that this is a malaise of the EC and could never happen here, so they wouldn’t even consider one of their party resigning. Even if it happenned many times.

Dutch elections in March, where Mark Rutte hopes to return.

The Dutch aren't happy about a hard lockdown and having the worst vaccinaton programme in Europe.

Govermental problems in Estonia and Italy as well.

The Dutch resignations are seen to be symbolic, as nearly all are stopping in post until elections on March 17th.

As San Marino has the worse death rate in Europe I'm not sure how that has anything to do with the OP?

Are we still in the Eurovision?"

As one of the “big five”, sadly yes. Would be a bloody good idea if the uk song had to take part in the semi final, end up bottom at that stage and not have to take part in 4 hours of turgid shite music presentations... Would save a load of cash and free up the Saturday evening in May for something else
