What do they say..a week is a long time in politics?

In 2017 Johnson as foreign secretary called on trump to be given the Nobel peace price.

Michael gove compared him to George Washington and jrm said he would be our closest ally post Brexit.

Even a few weeks ago they refused to condemn him for not accepting the election result.

However since weds they have been backtracking furiously.

Its sobering to think what would have happened, if he had got in.

I think you will find Boris congratulated Biden on his victory not long after the election. Some said he shouldn’t of done it at the time incase Trump had managed to turnover the result & with the way trump was he might not give the deal promised.

We all have short memories. If I recall, the world was quite concerned about ISIS and the strength it had gained between 2012 and 2016 when our world leaders couldn’t muster the courage to root them out. Thanks to the US administration lead by the guy everyone hates, they were beat down. Let’s hope that the incoming administration isn’t viewed as weak as the Obama administration was and that vacuum isn’t created again.

I think you'll find the roots of isis go back to Bush and his disastrous invasion of the middle east.

Perhaps the roots do, nevertheless, they were strengthened to crazy levels when we failed to check them for such a long time. I just hope everyone isn’t so busy high fiving over getting rid of Trump that some bad shit starts up again.

I find it strange Obama is criticised for increasing troop numbers, but trump is congratulated for beating them.

And how did he treat the kurds again?

It's still not really addressing the point.

They have been fawning over a leader who has just virtually sanctioned an armed coup.
