What I do find worrying is that Blair is proposing only giving people one jab instead of two.

He is a complete knob and should shut his mouth.!

The Pfizer vaccine is 91% effective with the first dose and the second tops it up to 95%, looking at it simply on the basis of giving twice as many people the initial amount of protection it's not that daft a suggestion apart from the thing was cleared by the MRA on a two dose application..

Maybe sometimes a bit of thinking differently isn't a bad thing ..

He is generally not someone I give credit to however..

Someone associated with Labour said it.

If it was a Tory idea, it'd get the backing of OP and the rest of the right wingers on here.

While that is true as far as it goes the reason two doses are used is to ensure the protection lasts, many vaccines require two doses to become properly effective over time, do you really think that the whole world who have/are in the process of approving this vaccine would use two doses if one was enough, I thought you believed in experts or is an ex PM now the real expect?

The approval only applies to having 2 jabs not 1. If its valid to have just the 1 jab it will need to be tested and approved first

The biggest problem with that is.....

That our dearest ex PM, doesn't seem to realise that his credibility is so shot to pieces that anything he says will be treated with a pinch of salt, regardless of whether it is right or wrong.

That is precisely what is wrong!

That’s a purely your subjective opinion. I’m not saying if I support the Ex-PM or not but it doesn’t answer the question about ID cards.....

I gave him my vote whilst not believing what he was saying in 97 to get the Tories out but didn't vote for him after that..

Irony is many Tories switched over to him in the three elections and now vent their bile upon him..

So I assume that your informed opinion is that he still has credibility? The evidence (not subjectively looked at but looked at in the cold light of day), shows that he misinformed us knowing full well that the 45 minute claim was manifestly (as the long delayed Hutton Report said), "verifiably inaccurate" ?actual quote) and that the source of any such claims came from a downtown Iraqi taxi driver. Blair knew this but still made these claims, got found out and was criticised in the Hutton Report for it. He attempted to delay the publishing of that report and did so for years making various procedural interruptions.

You may think that the claim that Tony Blair was discredited was a subjective opinion. I think that I would rather cite the independent enquiry into the actions of him and his Government. Despite the evidence, if you think that he was not discredited, then please feel free to claim that all but you have subjective opinions.

Therefore looking at this issue, I believe that any intervention by proven discredited politicians would, by virue of their history, detract from the credibility of their cause.

Did anyone actually say that they were holding back vaccine for the second dose or was he actually stating the obvious? Because i cant find anywhere where they are saying they are holding vaccine back.
