Does that mean he is no longer immune from prosecution?

Thoughts online that he will quit so Pence can take over and give him eternal immunity from prosecution.

"Does that mean he is no longer immune from prosecution?"

in theory... yes.......

however theory is that he is either going to try and self pardon himself... or he will resign the presidency to pence and get pence to pardon him!

however the power of the pardon only relates to federal charges....

the michael cohen case and the mueller enquiry were federal...

the Trump tax cases are state charges being led by the new york AG... so they could still go after him on those...

He is presumably still immune from prosecution until midday on 20th January 2021. Watch him sweat as that gets closer.

In theory, yes he can be jailed when he's out of office.

In practice, I really doubt he will be. Sadly.
