"Another union are not happy with them abstaining on the human rights bill. The Labour party never has united and never will,The tories are going the same way very bad for are nation " I would suggest it is good for our democracy. Two large parties, taking turns can never really represent the people of the UK. By default they have to fight over the same people so become (at least on paper) somewhat similar (though once in power they seem to diverge from this). We actually need smaller more representative parties, that then share power in a coalition. We would need to implement a better form of voting in a general election though. Otherwise it will never happen. | |||
