It was a total car crash pile up.

Mp's from both sides basically crying out for help - they are getting thousands of emails from constituents not able to get tested - turning up at test sites and being turned back no test, ran out of them.

And this is front line workers & folk who have cars full of family members - who have symptoms, very worrying and extremely serious now !!!

Just wait. Somebody will pop up on here eventually and tell you how Hancock and the government are doing a spiffing job. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about at all.

Is it any wonder people will defend them no matter what, when they refuse to take any responsibility whatsoever?

Think he said any other NATO country, a bizarre benchmark if at all true..

Given he said the average distance is now down to 5 or so mike's I suspect a lot of film flammery still ongoing..

Bloke on five live today couldn't get one under 60 miles then was told there's a drive in test centre a couple of mile away which hadn't come up..

Gets there, it's got two cars being processed and is told if you put your postcode as Aberdeen you'll get the qr code for this site..

All sorted but this was in West London..

Shambles..

Now once upon a time something like that would have lead to the minister to resign.

But when the boss of them all is so incompetent...

Interestingly a few have resigned. But they all seem to have resigned in protest at things Johnson + Cummings have done.

A Minister I'd never heard of just resigned, saying he couldn't support the Internal Market bill. A guy called Chishti.

Ross resigned after Cummings' special little holiday and bullshit extravaganza, saying he couldn't tell constituents who had been unable to visit sick relatives during lockdown that "they were all wrong and one senior adviser to the government was right".

And Javid resigned after Cummings + Johnson tried to strongarm him into firing his aides.

You o my resign these days if you’ve put your hand on a woman’s knee. Incompetence is no problem at all. It’s their trademark.

Rehman Chisthi was never a Minister, just a special advisor.

Looked him up in more detail. I think you're right. "Special envoy..."

Oh just remembered ... Johnson's own brother resigned from his government, though. And Johnson's younger brother was a business minister.
