This to encourage people to eat more unhealthy food to the nation that has the largest obesity problem on the planet. Surely we have missed a trick here? The principle of helping the economy is a good one. But surely they could have targeted it more wisely to get more from it... Use it for only produce that is UK grown... Thus helping our farmers too... Or how about 75 per cent off "healthy" meals and zero off unhealthy meals? Take a look at the list of outlets included... Kfc, bk, 5 guys, pizza express, McDonald's... Et al. " Unhealthy food is not the only choice. The scheme is not limited to only the large chain restaurant companies. Many local, small, family run establishments will benefit from the scheme. | |||

Let's pay them to help make it worse. | |||
