It stated “ The PAC said nobody would expect the government to get everything right in its initial response, but that it "urgently needs to reflect, acknowledge its mistakes and learn from them".

Also not sure if my search engine is broken but can’t seem to find all the countries who got all this COVID stuff 100% perfectly correct

The line "thrown to the wolves" isn't in the report. Rather these are remarks made by the Chair, Meg Hillier MP.

The Goverment should and could have done better. Lets hope that they take on and action all the recommendations fully.

Certain tory elements are in denial over the handling of care homes. Bojo blames care workers and not the pressure by government to shove thousands of untested patients from hospitals to care homes

Hang on, it doesn't take scientist to know that pressuring care homes to take UNTESTED patients, dumping them into care homes and issue the "protecive ring" soundbite to be reckless and a tad dishonest

Didn't the PM form the Government by choosing ministers for top jobs in his Cabinet?

So what is the PM's Job if SAGE and the "Government" are mostly responsible?

Yes I do

The government threatened a major contractor I dealt with. They were told they would loose other business if they didn’t agree to a deal separate from the main business.

In the case of the care homes they threatened to withdraw funding which keeps those businesses alive.

You have no choice.. who do you complain to?. If Boris has his way you certainly won’t be taking the government to court.
