No, it's not racist. They have costumes for each character. Blacking up is only a costume to play that character.

I agree there was a furore a while back when straight actors played gay roles but isn't that what actors do? Act out a part?

It is very silly and it should of never been taken down, why now and not before? It doesnt surprise me as it is 2020, today everything is offensive, the pc is so untrue it is unbelievable. I wonder what will be next?
