I assume he was advised* to do it this way. To avoid a bumbling performance trying to answer questions from the press.

I’m not really bothered if he delivers this message with clarity and no ambiguity.

But if it’s as clear as mud and he’s not on hand to answer then he’s a fucker.

Too true he is. A disgraceful one at that....let's see how many prime ministers question he does, without the noise of his cronies

What would the format of the broadcast be any different to the one he made on the 23 March.

He hid in a fridge to avoid questions during a general election and still hasn't been interviewed by Andrew Neil.

Strange situation for a man who considers himself to be a man of destiny and a great leader

probably that the broadcast done on the 23rd was also not live with no question and answer session at end, just like this one will be.

In some ways it reminds me that the chuckle brothers thought they were as funny as morecambe and wise, Boris is more like Churchill the dog in the advert than Winston Churchill whom Boris has always imagined he could replicate..

Asking questions in public is usually a bit pointless as people probably only do it in an attempt to score points . In any event the whole purpose of the broadcast is to update people on the current crisis. Anyone worth a question can do their own research .

What people achieve is much more important than how they answer questions.

Maybe just basic common sense Would people have any interest in the answers to the questions , some of which are just an attempt to trip people up.

It looks like he made the right decision to avoid these sessions . The majority that he achieved speaks for itself.

The only thing that matters is the number of votes that you pull on the day of the election. His result was an outstanding success . It is probably best not to pay too much attention to those who spend their spare time watching television.

Would people have an interest in the answers to policy questions before a general election?

Hopefully yes.

You are quite right Pat, not answering questions did create an outstanding election success.

It's probably best not to pay attention to most of the population? Okay Pat

A coward? Maybe. He's certainly a man who is well aware of his limitations; which is more than can be said of his underlings.

Certainly, he's given SKS plenty of ammunition for the next PMQs.

I am working full-time at home. Such is my good fortune.

Your business has been "flying" since the Brexit vote, so I'm sure you're making up the extra 20% too because that's the kind of guy you are.

You want to keep your men safe too, right?

Also, did you say that you had claimed the 80% furlough pay for them and made up the additional 20% out of your big profits?

As far as I can tell Matt Lucas said exactly the same thing in 18 seconds. On YouTube.

Boris was voted in to 'get brexit done', so those that voted for him only have themselves to blame.

Boris doesn't have a good track record of making good decisions, look at how many times he was in the headlines for being a clown.
