If you didn't see Panorama this week on 'has the government let down the NHS' then you need to see it.
It's a f**king disgrace. All the years that bio-terrorism and bio-warfare has been banded about, yet not one piece of correct PPE in stores for either an attack or as we are now, within a pandemic.
Johnson and previous governments have some serious questions to face up to.
BJ claims "1 billion items delivered to health services", he never mentioned a single glove, not a pair was classed as an item.
This is just as disgusting as the £350m per week to the NHS on the side if the tour bus during Brexit. False, misleading and truly offensive.
This time, his lies affect front line workers and their safety. January, they were told to stock up, yet did nothing.
Apart from the supposed pandemic stock that didn't exist amd what was available being out of date with stickers deliberatly hiding the fact.
The Thursday night clapping, is a cover for the governments failure, the hypocrit has no right to stand on tge door step of Number 10 cheering the same people who saved his life and delivered his child - the same people he and his cronies have so badly let down.
Calling these people 'Heroes" as it is more acceptable to the public that these poor souls die, for the cause of there country. They don't need to be Heroes, they just need the proper and correct PPE.
They seriously think buying lost health workers off with a measley £60K in the event if death when litigation solicitors will tear them apart later.
To downgrade the rating of the virus itself in order to avoid HSE recommendations (and litigation) on correct PPE is again, offensive.
Watch the program on iPlayer and see how badly these "Heroes" have been let down. My heart breaks for them and thier families, why they carry on is beyond me other than they care about other more than themselves.
These people are laying it on the line for others, what do they get in return - nothing but a 2 minute Thursday night clap and called a Hero.
A business in Bolton, 16 miles away offered full production of gowns to the UK goverment, yet they never bothered to reply, so now nearly all his production is going to America apart from an order placed locally.
A local businessman whose son and daughter work in my local hospital raised £1 million to supply PPE for our Trust as he was concerned over safety of his own children and colleagues.
How come he can raise the money, place an order and start to deliver it, yet the headless monkeys in Whitehall cannot do the same??
